Taking a break from work...how cool is 'Kashuo Ishiguro' especially with 'Sir' Prefix

Always thought 'Isambard Kingdom Brunel' was quite something. Almost as if there will be no room big enough to fit his entire persona. Why hasn't this name ever appeared in the baby names section, they're always looking for something unique

What other names do you know that just make you sit back and think WOW! (in a good way not in a 'Chardonaye' kind of way ifyswim).

I get Boutros Boutros-Ghali stuck in my head too! Absolutely no idea why.

Two names of people that come into my work recently a man called baby yogi and a woman called happy lady

I love this thread. It's a great idea and I love that most of the suggestions are names that I have always liked hearing, but didn't know that I liked hearing them, until this thread pointed it out. If you know what I mean

SettledTraveller Me too! She started on local TV in the West Midlands so I've known her name for years and years. My brother and I (both late 30s!) still do the Whigfield thing.

Years ago I had an email enquiry from a couple named Roxanne and Barnaby (business related) Nothing came of it but I always thought they sounded like the coolest couple ever 😁 Kind of ya but not too pretentious, the sort of people you could down shots with all night 😄
