I live by the coast and the wind is ferocious tonight, I can hear the sea getting thrown around something chronic (it woke me up).

I'm half tempted to go down and take a look

Yep, Wide awake, missed my window to fall asleep before 12 now BF is snoring and wind is so loud outside...might as well watch some vanity fair 😉

Being a dick as usual refusing to sign a supplementary form for a school. Walks round said school with any age like a slapped arse today . Shot daggers at me and freinds and sent m a 4 page email ranting about crime figures around a rural and city centre school. Which I find quite funny considering my job.

Ohh look you can tag hahah

Juanbablo · 18/09/2018 04:31

It's very windy here in Oxfordshire. Ds1 has woken up twice citing bad dreams but I reckon it's the wind that's waking him. It was hot so the windows are all open. And now he can't sleep without the landing light on. And I can't sleep with it on so I've given up.

LanguidLobster · 18/09/2018 04:37

@Lollypop27 the storm seriously freaked me out! He was OK, just laughed at me. He said he was not asleep anyway and apparently I am a 'whirling dervish'.

@HowamIgoingtocope you're so Abba..

Ooh you can tag, you can tag, ooh hoo having the time of your life...

AmazingGrace16 · 18/09/2018 04:41

Very windy here on the south coast. Woke me up too and now can't sleep.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 18/09/2018 04:45

Do you mean you woke your partner up OP?

Now you’ve mentioned it it’s a bit windy here too (Kent).

Cakemonger · 18/09/2018 04:49

Only a bit windy here in Birmingham but awake due to insomnia caused by new antidepressant medication. Being landlocked, the image of the howling wind and sea is making me feel quite cosy Smile

Moomoomonkey · 18/09/2018 04:49

I’ve been awake since 2 with horrific toothache. Second night in a row. Saw he dentist yesterday and the pain is much worse since!! Hoping the antibiotics kick in soon

LostMyBaubles · 18/09/2018 04:50

Being battered here from all sides! I hate this weather. I’m in Gloucestershire.

triptrapdollydumpling · 18/09/2018 05:00

adoggymama · 18/09/2018 05:00

AmazingGrace16 · 18/09/2018 05:04

ladybird69 · 18/09/2018 05:17

OhWifey · 18/09/2018 05:18

9 month old up for the millionth time to feed, husband up with insomnia, 4 year old whimpering for me to come back into her bed. No sleep in this house!

Pissedoffdotcom · 18/09/2018 05:20

So glad it isn't just me (in a totally selfish way!). DP is on some heavy medication atm & it makes him snore something chronic...currently debating how long i'd get inside for accidentally on purpose smothering him in his sleep

MrsCatE · 18/09/2018 05:30

Madly windy here. Lots of banging and crashing too which I assume is from bins etc or outdoor furniture. We've taken ours in but neighbours haven't.

Flashinggreen · 18/09/2018 05:31

Early morning wakings is becoming the norm here. Have started going to bed early so at least I’m getting more than a few hrs sleep. Quite windy here, contemplating closing the window which was open because it was really warm last night. Thank goodness for MN.

brizzledrizzle · 18/09/2018 05:45

Yes, Helene is behaving most inconsiderately.

heeblejeeble · 18/09/2018 05:51

I'm awake my recycling bin has blown over so I'm waiting for the sun to come up to rescue the carnage in the road. I'm in wales.

BitOutOfPractice · 18/09/2018 05:52

You went and woke a neighbour? Shock why? I would be pretty furious if you did that to me!!

It’s calm and very warm here in Essex

Xiaoxiong · 18/09/2018 06:05

Absolutely howling wind here in Berkshire - all our sash windows are banging and rattling - and my poor mum, who is a nervous flyer at the best of times, is landing at Heathrow in an hour! Really worrying about her having a rocky landing Sad
