When you were 18 what was your choice of drink?

And would you still drink it now? What's your drink of choice today? I liked Taboo, Malibu and Smirnoff ice. None of them I'd go near now!

Now I like an occasional Disaronno other than that it's a cup of tea, I'm only 40!

Wkd blue, 2 large bottles for £5.

Bacardi and coke
Pernod and black
Blue thunderbird if with my mates

Pints of lager.. I'd die from the indigestion now!

I'm going to sound like a real light weight but it was Coca Cola.

Wasn't allowed it growing up and I found out early on I could get very drunk on a liqueur chocolate so alcohol was never a thing

Lager and lime.
Dry white wine.

I still drink lager and wine but I can’t even remember the last time I ordered a vodka. Must be 15 years at least.

I listed loads upthread but reading through this I had forgotten Reef, Metz and rum and coke, and vodka red bull.
And strawpedos! Had totally forgotten about those.

MD 20/20 - even if it was like paint stripper

Brandy - that night didnt end well, both myself and friend went unconscious and ended up in hospital and didnt regain consciousness for over 24 hours - alcohol poisoning - .5ltr each and raced to drink it, we were both lucky our hearts didnt stop

We got read the riot act by the staff but their wrath was nothing like the wrath of her sister who had to call the ambulance as we both had been a bad state before we went unconscious

I was on the toilet and fell off it cos couldnt sit upright and fell to the right into the washbasket and then went to straighten up and fell to the left and hit head on wall

Friend decided to get into the bath for some reason and shave her legs, it looked like a murder scene, she lost consciousness in the bath.

Her sister tried for half an hour to get us round but had no joy so with her older brothers bundled us into a car and off to a&e where we were admitted and finally discharged to her care 3 days later.

We are still friends and we are both occassional drinkers - if out for a meal, xmas or celebrating our birthdays (which are days apart)

I don't drink now, really, but would still drink any one of those if I did.
