When you were 18 what was your choice of drink?

And would you still drink it now? What's your drink of choice today? I liked Taboo, Malibu and Smirnoff ice. None of them I'd go near now!

Now I like an occasional Disaronno other than that it's a cup of tea, I'm only 40!

Archers and lemonade or hooch! Both are completely rank now!

Snake bite, cider and black currant. Southern comfort and lemonade

Vodka and lime cordial.
Pernod and blackcurrent.

Malibu and Coke

Now more of a Rose drinker

Lager and lime
Mad dog 20/20
Blastaway
I wouldnt touch any of them now , i like white wine .

Dry Blackthorne cider, or pernod & blackcurrant.

Used to start the night in a cheap social club on doubl double dooleys. Sometimes tia maria and fresh orange, vodka and tango or pernod and lemonade.

Newcastle Brown Ale, or IPA or Guinness or if I'd been paid recently JD near with ice.

Haven't had an NBA in years but still like IPA and JD but never with coke just neat.

Don't really drink much at all but enjoy a pint from time to time and also a decent red wine or whisky/Bourbon

Strange how tastes change

A mixer called 'Russian'. I can't remember what I had it with though.

When I was 18 I was drinking Bacardi and coke. Still love it now. The list of what I like to drink is very long though.

Orange Reef. I think Wetherspoons sold them for about 90p a bottle. I wouldn’t drink one now if you paid me! 🤢

Diamond white + Castaway = Blastaway. The very thought now makes me retch.

Still would! But it's not my favourite any more, by a long shot. And I definitely couldn't drink a bottle in a night these days.

I started out drinking dry cider, but my then boyfriend introduced me to real ale, for which I soon developed a taste. I’ve been a beer geek ever since, and the choice & variety of top quality beer available today is better than ever.

Southern Comfort and lemonade is still one of my very favourite drinks. The only thing other than lager that I can still drink from those days.

Back in the 80s, it was gin & tonic. (No wine then)

Archers and lemo or a steamboat

Blu curacau and lemonade
Bacardi and coke
Midori ans lemonade
Tia maria and coke

Most of the above, mainly Bacardi and Coke or Martini and lemonade (if feeling poor), but moved onto lager at uni as cheap. The only spirit I drink regularly now is gin or occasionally vodka in a Moscow Mule. Still like lager but more likely to be bottled than in a plastic pint glass!

At 18, it was pints of lager, Kronenberg, Stella or Red Stripe or bottles of Pils.

Hooch. The black currant was my favourite.

Or gin and tonic.

Vodka soda and lime or blackcurrant, shots of aftershock to get drunk quickly and the odd alcopop. I mainly drink gin or wine/prosecco now but would still drink vodka and could be tempted to drink an aftershock or the odd alcopop. I used to hate wine and I so wish I still did!

Cherry Veba, blue WKD or midouri lime and lemonade. Just the thought of them makes my stomach turn. 🤮

I swapped to vodka because the queues for the toilets were always long.
I think the drinks will show our ages.
I was a big drinker at college in the late 90s.
