When you were 18 what was your choice of drink?

And would you still drink it now? What's your drink of choice today? I liked Taboo, Malibu and Smirnoff ice. None of them I'd go near now!

Now I like an occasional Disaronno other than that it's a cup of tea, I'm only 40!

White wine and soda
Tia Maria and Diet Coke
Malibu and pineapple
Gin and babysham

Cider .
Malibu and pineapple.
Wouldn't touch either now. The smell of cider now makes me heave.

Scotch and American.
The occasional vodka and orange or Southern Comfort and orange.
Brandy and babycham on special occasions.
Then I went to uni and swapped to cider

I drank a lot at 18

I think those last two was when I was early 20s.
Sometimes Budweiser if I was sick of all the sweet stuff

I can’t imagine what all that did to my teeth

I’m 40 now and wouldn’t touch any of that. I only drink good red wine and champagne. I even find Prosecco too sweet

or those really fruity alcopops you used to get in whetherspoons. Mango was my fav but I'd have to drink so many of them to get me tipsy that I'd have the shits the next day. Classy.

Snakebite and black. I wouldn't drink it now because I can't bear hangovers anymore.

When I was 18: lambrusco, vodka lemonade, cheap rose, smirnoff ice, pimms

I don't drink spirits anymore and cheap wine gives me headache now, so I would not go near any of them.

Now: wine

Woodpecker cider I wouldn't touch it now I'm a sauvignon blanc,vodka and tonic type of woman

I don’t drink now, but even if I hadn’t stopped I don’t think I could take the taste of anything anymore 🤢

Pint of diesel.... larger, cider and black currant. Would sink pint after pint of it

If I had even a mouthful now I would vomit & my stomach would bloat to point my trousers popped open

Tisfortired brandy and cherry coke is lovely worth a try

Oh and I'd still have one or two of those when I go out if I don't want to get drunk. But if drinking at home I prefer white wine spritzers.

Diamond white - bork. Wouldn’t touch it.
Castaway - don’t think you can get it now but I wouldn’t buy it now.

Now I drink very little in comparasin. Haven’t been drunk fir years. The odd glass of red or white wine, champagne when DH opens a bottle, a G & T, an amaretto, a Baileys at Christmas, and I do like a dry sherry or an amontillado sometimes as an aperitif. And for some reason I really fancy a snowball now! Must be thinking of Christmas drinks! Ohh- mulled wine too!! And hot chocolate with brandy.................roll on winter!!

Archers and lemonade. Had one out of curiosity a couple of years ago and it was so sweet I could nearly drink it! Ugh!
