When you were 18 what was your choice of drink?

And would you still drink it now? What's your drink of choice today? I liked Taboo, Malibu and Smirnoff ice. None of them I'd go near now!

Now I like an occasional Disaronno other than that it's a cup of tea, I'm only 40!

Archers and lemonade. Haven't had it in year's.

70isaLimit, how could I forget southern comfort and lemonade!! I got so drunk on it I haven't been able to tolerate the smell of it for over 20years!

Vodka Bombers (vodka, blackcurrant and lemonade)

Kiltlifters (vodka and irn bru )

Both used to only be £1 so ideal as a student.

Then when I got a proper job and could afford more I progressed to blue wkd

I could drink bombers and kiltlifters now but Christ no way could I stomach a blue wkd, the smell alone makes me

Cider, 30 years later it's still cider

Vodka and coke to red bull ; not my choice of drink now.

Vodka and coke until I went to Magaluf and got so drunk I can’t remember anything about the night and still, over 10 years later, have no idea how we woke up the next morning safe in our hotel room.
Now I only like white wine.

Vodka and coke, but it was really cheap house vodka that the club I used to go to sold for £1 for a double. Me and my friend used to go out 2 nights a week with a tenner each and get absolutely smashed. Dunno what was in that vodka but it used to give you a right dodgy stomach the day after.

I do still like vodka but I drink the decent stuff now!

I used to like shots of apple and cherry Sourz as well which I don't drink now. Far too sickly sweet!

Bacardi Freezers and Smirnoff ice, I remember them coming out

Around then and into university it was all 20/20, Diamond White, Castaway (and Blastaway) Hooch and other alcopops. The very occasional beer. Never drank wine or spirits though.

Now I drink red wine and cider . Not together obv

Archers and lemonade, I very occasionally drink it now when out with one friend that’s quite forceful in getting you to drink a lot as it’s half the strength of vodka etc so I can look like I’m keeping up without getting wasted!

• I remember Bezique being heavily promoted but it's since vanished.

Snakebite and Black. I’m a bit more ‘sophisticated’ now but I still like a fruity cider sometimes.

I still like an occasional Archers and Lemonade. My usual is the occasional can of G&T, or Pimms or fruity ciders.

I've moved beyond the wine phase of my 20s. I like a good red, but too many wines give me a splitting headache while I'm still drinking them.

Weatherspoon pitchers weren't strong enough so I'd regularly make up my own cocktails by asking for a pint glass with random drinks. Favourites included vodka red bulls with Bols blue; purple aftershocks (mix red and blue); wkd blue mixed with orange reef; Chocolate mudslides with baileys or apple & cherry VKs

Now I've just found a really nice posh pop (not alcoholic) and it tastes like cherryaid. I love it!

Nowhere near as fussed by booze now.

Cider. I was a young looking 18 and the barman wouldn't serve me. My friends bought me half a cider which I drunk at an angle under the table. I then went to the toilet and threw the whole lot and more up. I didn't drink alcohol and definitely not cider for another 5 years. Never a big drinker, I don't touch it these days.
