It doesn't really matter what time I go to bed, unless I am really, really tired (or ill, or drunk!) I can't get to sleep until some time between midnight and 1am, and it's not unusual for me to still be awake at 2am even though my alarm will go off at 6.

serbska · 14/09/2018 17:25

As a one off? Normal bed time.

As my everyday wake up time? 12.00

romany4 · 14/09/2018 17:29

I get up at 6.30am every day. I'm usually in bed for midnightish

safariboot · 14/09/2018 17:55

Whenever was normal, and if I'm tired in the morning then sucks to be me. That might be 4 or 5 am if I've been in full night owl mode on previous days. I cannot get an early night, if I try to go to bed when I'm not tired I just toss and turn and I'll still be awake two hours later. Even at the best of times I don't fall asleep easily.

Branleuse · 14/09/2018 17:56

Id try and be in bed by midnight if poss

PoesyCherish · 14/09/2018 17:57

Hmm not sure. I get up at 6:30 am and go to bed around 8:30/9ish. I rarely get to lie in until 8. I think if I were in a situation where I had to get up at 8 (rather than naturally waking up at that time e.g. on our childfree weekends) I'd make sure I was in bed by 10:30 at the latest.

Thebluedog · 14/09/2018 17:57

Woo hoo a lie in.... I’d be in bed by midnight Grin if I actually managed to stay awake past 9.30...

Furrycushion · 14/09/2018 18:04

What do people do if they stay up.unti 1am? Most people I know go to bed at about 11pm

SweetheartNeckline · 14/09/2018 18:12

Well it depends. Ordinarily 11.30pm ish, but if we had friends round or something 2am would be fine, 3am at a push if I was on a night out. If 3am I'd get ready quicker and loll about in the morning a bit. I usually sleep from 11.30pm-7am.

AfterSchoolWorry · 14/09/2018 18:16

About 9.30.

I need a lot of sleep though.

Elementtree · 14/09/2018 18:18

8am? And I could be sure I wouldn't be up through the night dealing with kid issues or have to be up with an early waker?... Maybe 1am... Midnight, if it was an everyday thing rather than a one off.

RomanyRoots · 14/09/2018 18:22

About midnight, but thank God I don't have to be up at that ungodly hour.

Elementtree · 14/09/2018 18:24

Ungodly hour? Oh god, the envy, it hurts Grin

WhyOhWine · 14/09/2018 18:24

I get up around 7.30 and am normally in bed by 11.30 but i can certanly cope with the odd later night and still be up on time without difficulty. I do also go to bed a bit earlier than 11.30 some nights if I am bored.

ScrumpyCrack · 14/09/2018 18:31

I’ve only just discovered that 9 hours is my ideal sleep time. I wake up refreshed, have energy and a great appetite all day then can drop off easily at bedtime.

My whole life I’ve done 6-8 hours and struggled through the day.

ScrumpyCrack · 14/09/2018 18:31

Oops... whereas my DH needs 6 hours so I guess it differs for all of us.

Juanbablo · 14/09/2018 19:08

Probably normal time 10/11pm to make the most of the extra time in bed in the morning!

cheeseslovesme · 14/09/2018 19:49

I get up at 5.30 weekdays, so go to bed around 11pm to 11.20ish. So would say around 12.30 to 1ish.

ZanyMobster · 14/09/2018 20:37

I usually go to bed about midnight, alarm clock goes off 630. So by that calculation around 130ish but the trouble is I naturally wake up no later than 7/730 regardless so it doesn't always work. There have been many occasions when I have gone to bed at 3/330 and up at 8am, I still manage as you just have to.

I wish I could have more sleep!!

Bimgy85 · 14/09/2018 20:42

Latest 3

Preferably 12.

3boysandabump · 14/09/2018 21:05

Between 12-2 depending on how tired I was

MrsPinkCock · 14/09/2018 21:17

Midnight if I had work the next day because I never sleep well before work.

1-2am if not working.

Omgineedanamechange · 14/09/2018 21:20

Flipping heck, 8am is practically lunch time in my world. Probably 1am for me, but only cos I couldn’t keep my eyes open any later than that.

DrDreReturns · 14/09/2018 21:23

Are you a student??? 7am is a lie in for me!

Agentornika · 14/09/2018 21:27

I'd love a lie in til 8 😞
