1/2 am depending on what I had to do after the 8 am wake up. If I know I'm going to be up late the next night I try to sleep early like on a Friday I go to bed at 10pm wake at 8am but then work Saturday night shift so don't get back to bed till Sunday 7.30am.

verytiredmamma · 13/09/2018 22:43

What dreamworld is this!? I want in.

Probably 11.30pm-midnight. In reality bed by 11pm and up about 5-6am with the baby.

NewtScamandersNaughtyNiffler · 13/09/2018 22:45

I'd aim to go to bed at 11. (Never happens)
Would probably go up between 12-1.
Fall asleep between 2-3am.
Wake up at 4.30 5.30 and 6.30
Change alarm for 8.45 And get ready quickly 😂

TheGhostOfYou · 13/09/2018 22:46

In bed around half 10, probably wouldn't sleep until after midnight.

Happyandshiney · 13/09/2018 22:46

I can operate pretty well on 4 hours sleep but if I wasn’t getting up until 8am (how lovely) I’d quite happily stay up until 2am ish - 6 hours sleep is fine for me.

BevBrook · 13/09/2018 22:46

Well I had to be up at seven yesterday and I went to bed at 1. But that wouldn’t be sustainable for me in the long run. If I didn’t have to get up til eight midnight would be fine as a bedtime.

Titsywoo · 13/09/2018 22:48

1am latest. I'm fine on 7 hours sleep but anything less than that am I'm not at my best.

DoorbellsSleighbellsSchnitzel · 13/09/2018 22:49

Ooh if I were guaranteed 8am I'd stay up until at least midnight - probably later!!

AmeliaOlivier · 13/09/2018 22:52

I love how many people think 8am is great. Makes me feel very lucky Grin

2am would be fine, but I would more than likely still be up at 6am anyway, it’s a habit.

EmmaC78 · 13/09/2018 22:54

Midnight probably. I get up at 6am.for work at the moment and go to bed by 11pm.

Passthecake30 · 13/09/2018 22:54

Midnight. But I wouldn't be able to sleep soundly until 8am, I'd wake up at 4, 6, 7... and then thrash about until 8am.

MsJudgemental · 13/09/2018 23:00

11:00 - 12:00

LockedOutOfMN · 13/09/2018 23:02

By 3am latest but ideally at 1am. But everyone's different.

My kids have to get up at approx. 7.30am and they have to be in bed by 10pm with lights out by 10.30pm. At the moment they've just gone back to school and are wiped out so they tend to put themselves to bed a bit earlier on some weekdays.

Rebecca36 · 13/09/2018 23:03

Now that I no longer go to work, I do not even stir at 8am. I Zzzzzzzzzz. Wonderful.

I suppose between 11 and 12 would be the right time to go to bed if I really had to get up.

PurpleArmy · 13/09/2018 23:03

Midnight, but would aim for earlier and never manage it!

I get up at 7.30 and go to bed at 12.15. I aim for earlier....but can't sleep anyway.

Happyandshiney · 13/09/2018 23:03

Amelia you must realise that for most adults 8am is quite late to get up? That can’t surely be a surprise?

Stupomax · 13/09/2018 23:04

It's irrelevant what time I have to be up. I wake up at 4.30am and that's it for the day.

/sigh/

Fatted · 13/09/2018 23:04

8am is a fucking lie in!!

I usually go to bed about midnight and am up for 6 to get up have a brew and get ready before the children are up!

TheFlis12345 · 13/09/2018 23:07

My alarm is set for just after 8 most days, so I aim to be in bed by 10.45 and lights out 11.15-11.30. I am not a great sleeper though so allow myself time to get 8 hours with interruptions!

Pretty much always in bed between 10-11 unless out or watching a film, regardless of what time I have to get up. Going to bed now and probably won’t be up before 9 tomorrow Smile

Growingboys · 13/09/2018 23:09

That would be a lie in. So midnight? But 1am would be fine.

Itchytights · 13/09/2018 23:10

Midnight

BonnieF · 13/09/2018 23:14

That’s my normal weekday waking time, so I would go to bed at my normal time. 0100-0130.

I have a lie-in at weekends.
