midnight, for a luxurious 8 hours sleep.

I can manage on a lot less, but it s nice when I don't have to

Oddcat · 13/09/2018 23:19

Getting up at 8 is a lay in for me , I'd probably go to bed around 1am. I normally get up at 6 and go to bed at midnight , fall asleep about 12:30 ( and wake up to duvet flap every half hour Angry )

BikeRunSki · 13/09/2018 23:22

Latest, 1-2 am. I’m a huge night owl and would relish the oppurtunity not to have to get up until 8 am.

MLTS · 13/09/2018 23:22

1 or 2am

LadyMacbethWasMisunderstood · 13/09/2018 23:25

I am leaving home at 7.30 tomorrow to go to work. I Will be up at 6.30. That is commonplace for me. I’m going to bed now. I am a bit later than I would like. Normally aim for 11pm. That gives me 7 1/2 hours sleep. Which is fine.

Is that you, son ?

10.30 and sleep around 11ish, but I'm usually up at 6.40 with those times.

Pretty much always in bed between 10-11 unless out or watching a film, regardless of what time I have to get up. Going to bed now and probably won’t be up before 9 tomorrow smile
......

Quite right too! 9-9.30 is early enough when you're not going to work. 10-11 is better. Doesn't matter what time you go to bed then.

BitOfFun · 14/09/2018 00:05

Two, max. But I might have got my second wind by then. I'd regret it though.

AornisHades · 14/09/2018 00:06

15 minutes ago. Whoops.

CrispbuttyNo1 · 14/09/2018 00:07

Ideally 1am but it’s not unknown for me to be up til 4am ., I am in bed early the next night though to catch up.

ALongHardWinter · 14/09/2018 04:36

7.30pm. Grin

Haha. I got a "lie in" this morning. Kids got up about 6, i woke at 6.30. DH is still asleep. It's 7am on a weekend Sad.

I'm also with Stupomax tho, and was awake from 4-5am.

On that basis, I would continue to go to bed at 10, just incase it was a 4am wake with no return to sleep.
And then by 9am, I can have done breakfast, school packed lunches during the week, excerise, some cleaning and be ready to leave the house. This is my typical leave the house at 9am morning

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 14/09/2018 05:12

That's very late to get up in the week! I would go to bed whenever really.

LeavingTheSandBehind · 14/09/2018 05:12

11pm/midnight; I start my week days at 5am so 8am sounds very civilised!

ellesbellesxxx · 14/09/2018 05:39

8am.. bliss! I would still go to bed 9/10. Been up since 5... been a long time since I set an alarm

DartmoorDoughnut · 14/09/2018 05:55

God that would be a lovely lie in Grin

Lauren83 · 14/09/2018 06:02

I get up at 5.30-6am and go to bed 10pm usually but the baby has me up a few times, I would go to bed at midnight if I was up at 8am

Cauliflowersqueeze · 14/09/2018 06:08

about midnight - 1am. 8am is a really late get up if you have an hour to get ready.

FrangipaniBlue · 14/09/2018 06:17

Midnight?

I usually get up at 4.45, I'm off today but been awake since 5.45 Sad

CountFosco · 14/09/2018 06:33

8am. Bliss! Last night I went to bed about 11pm to get up for 5am and that was me being 'good'. But you asked whatwas the latest. It depends what you need to be up for at 8am and if it's a one off (e.g. stay up all night partying as a student before spending the next day travelling home to see the parents) or a routine thing (would aim to be in bed by midnight but wouldn't matter if I was up till 2am to be functional at work).

Mainchanger · 14/09/2018 06:35

Getting up at 8 is the stuff of dreams...I would go to bed at 10ish, my usual time.
