Bridal entrance songs!

Help me find the perfect bridal entrance song for my wedding. So far I'm thinking one of these:

1. Ben E. King - Stand by me
2. Louis Armstrong - what a wonderful world
3. Eva Cassidy - Songbird
4. Christina Perry - A thousand years

Opinions? Any other suggestions?

We had the theme to the US Office played on the harp- it wasn’t instantly recognisable to most people but a nice Easter egg to our close mates who knew we were big fans.

We had stand by me by Ben E king, then songbird for signing the register!

The Christina Perry is very, very, very popular.

We have the humming chorus from Madam Butterfly. It was very moving.

For our Registry Office do (last year) we had Get Here by Oleta Adams.

It was one of 'our' songs back in 1992.

Kept saying to (now)DH that we should have had Finally by CC Peniston.

I had Only Time by Enya.

People thought it was a strange choice but meh

I walked down the aisle to Paradise by Coldplay.

I chose ‘Someone like you’ (the Van Morrison song, not Adele’s) sung by Dina Carroll from the Bridget Jones soundtrack, and then James Taylor ‘How sweet it is to be loved by you’ for the exit song. Unfortunately, as I arrived at the hotel, the wedding planner told me that my CD would not play in their machine so I didn’t get to hear them. Had to make do with an Il Divo cd they managed to find from somewhere! So the tip is, even though your disc may play ok in your house and car, make sure it plays ok at the venue in good enough time to have a plan B.

I walked in to Secret Garden by Bruce Springsteen and out to "Hold my hand" by Jess Glynne. I wanted Jess Glynne on the way in but the intro part was too long.

Just be careful what you choose because as the first few bars of Secret Garden played I was totally overcome with emotion and struggled to hold it together to get down the aisle!

Please please tell me you recreated the throne scene to the last detail and someone did their best Chewie roar to get all the guests to face forward.

We had all I ask of you from phantom of the opera. Beautiful song.

We had Use Somebody by Kings of Leon, we timed it so I started walking when the song really got going, it gave us all goose bumps.

We had dj sammy heaven candlelight going in....florence and the machine you've got the love to walk out to

I had how long will I love you by Ellie Goulding

Haley Reinharts version of Cant Help Falling in Love. Then an instrumental version of the same song by the ONeill Brothers Group found on Spotify in case the walk was too long!

We then walked out to Higher and Higher by Jackie Wilson.

And then we had stuck on you by Lionel Ritchie for signing the register then the first the last my everything by Barry white for coming back down the aisle 😁
