Tell me about the good things that have happened today...

I'm struggling at the moment with MH issues that are refusing to let up and part of that is I'm struggling to see the good in the world.

It must exist so I'm asking MN to help me to see it.

So far today I have,

the lovely person who sent me a lovely pm today,
the patient at the pharmacy who went and picked up my meds for me so I didn't need to struggle and,
the person who told me they care.

So, what's yours?

Just feel happy really. We had a tremendous storm last night but all is quiet today.

Glad everyone else seems OK.

Finally got anti anxiety medication from the doctor!

Quality Street sends me right back to my grandparents' house. That was their treat :) When we stayed without our parents they'd get the tin out of an evening for us to pick a few. Very happy days!

I saw a dog like miphound today!

DD slept til 8am, DS til 9am!!!

Weather is shit so we have just grabbed the duvets from upstairs, made a little den in the living room and have been watching Disney movies all day.

We also ordered dominos and they put 8 chicken dippers in the box instead of 7. Happy days

I've never seen another in real life, although someone once showed be a similar photo and someone at every dog event held at a certain place comes to ask me where MipHound is from because he used to know one. Every bloody time...

Sorry, good news. The thermostat went funny on the new cooker. Repair man is in at the moment (helped by MipHound) so I will be making cakes to test it.

Chatting to a lady today, who I'd thought was quite hard bitten. She told me she's going to Gambia on holiday and will buy food for three villages and take it to them. Very touched by her generosity. People can be far better than you imagine.

My Early Help lady gave me a big cuddle today and told me I was amazing. Also helped me sort through a massive stack of paperwork so I'm feeling much less anxious

Our power went off and 5 hours later it came back on. Oh the relief!

Had a lovely coffee with my parents. They always cheer me up and make me feel like life is great.

Saw a Dr about an upcoming operation I'm having. I was 😟 but he was 😊 Feeling a tiny bit less terrified.

I found a forgotten, full bottle of Blood Orange Cointreau on top of the fridge! And I cleaned the fridge, until it sparkled 🌟 and the microwave.
