I think she prefers it that way. The bad press can’t get to her because it’s all about her being moody and uptight which is total bollocks. She gets to have lots of laughs in private and not have journalists writing uncomfortable truths.

I love her. God knows why, her music was never my cup of tea, I couldn't give a toss about high fashion, the last time I was slender was too long ago to think about, I'm (the unfashionable kind of) socialist, blah blah blah, but for some reason I have always had warm and positive feelings towards her.
I have a very soft spot for her dh, too.

But am also wary that this is also a PR stunt to manipulate us too and make the Beckhams more money. But she was always my favourite Spice girl as she always looked so uncomfortable and I could relate!!!

Of course it's a PR stunt but it's a good one. It has literally changed my perception of her. I've not really followed her or the brand, was never into the music, couldn't give two hoots about football but my impression of her was vapid, generally pointless famous person. I was wrong, she's proper deadpan funny.

I remember seeing/reading an interview from her years and years ago and her humour coming through in that too... as she did the whole thing in fuzzy duckling slippers. Love her.

She has always been like this. She was always the funniest spice girl but just always had Geri and Mel B hollering over her. I think she is great!

Anyone who's that funny can't be that bad. Or that stupid. It's a very sharp move. Noticed her new Sloaney accent?

The Vogue shoot that's selling her, of which the VT is part, is all about her alone as a mother with 4 kids. DB wouldn't take part.

My ExDH worked with her once. he said she was really, really funny, didn't take herself seriously and took the piss of of David. ExDH said David was a good bloke.

I’m sure she’s a very nice person. Still think her and her H are only interested in making more money and expanding their brand. They will do anything, including using their dc, to keep them in the public eye. I hate the way they use their dc.

You know, I never used to mind her - I felt a bit sorry for her being married to DB if anything. But it doesn't sit well with me how she (and DB) seem to want to parade their DC - even their youngest at seven years old - all over the media, as if they are part of their 'brand'

Not nice IMO.
