Why have I never realised how brilliant she is?

I just watched an interview from 2002, she sounds like an extra from TOWIE on it.

PollyFlinderz · 05/09/2018 14:39

She was extremely funny on Parkinson.

Undercoverbanana · 05/09/2018 14:41

She moves in different circles now so has refined her voice to suit. I think we all do it to some degree. I swear like a trooper but tone it right down when speaking to clients.

HotNatured · 05/09/2018 14:42

So cringe, contrived and boring.

Waited for the ‘funny’ parts you all seem to speak of and, well nothing Confused

You really need to get out more if you think VB is even mildly amusing

Humour is very subjective. I could consider those who don't find it funny as people without much intelligence and a stick up their arse but I would never be so rude.

VB is lovely!
But Victoria please do smile more as you have a lovely genuine smile.

As someone just said, humour's subjective. You either get the dry type or you don't.

winnieofwhitby · 05/09/2018 14:54

Well that was 5 minutes of my life that I won't get back.

WindyWednesday · 05/09/2018 14:55

Reading the credits she didn’t write it.

rainbowsandsmiles · 05/09/2018 14:56

She might not have written it, but she's still obviously able to be fine with sending herself up which is a good trait to have.

Want2bSupermum · 05/09/2018 15:01

She is lovely. I've been sat close to her family when flying to the U.K. via London. She is very nice and talked to me about the stress of traveling with young DC. My skin has been horrendous and she told me she has to work really hard on her skin when flying. I've always admired her ability to promote and sell herself while making sure both her and her H are properly compensated for it. She is very shrewd and a good businesswoman.

RiverTam · 05/09/2018 15:07

Very droll.

On no planet does she have anything approaching a Sloaney accent though. She’s always spoken like that as well!

keyboardkate · 05/09/2018 15:08

I am sorry if I offend anyone, but this cult of celebrity is just boring the knickers off me at this stage.

People are just that, people, we all have the same bodily functions, family issues etc. to manage. I bet slebs just want to be anonymous most of the time, unless it suits them to manufacture an image/photoshoot/publicity at a time of THEIR choosing.

I am sure she is a lovely person, so are 99% of the population also.

TatianaLarina · 05/09/2018 15:13

I thought it was stilted and a bit cringe.

She seems quite good-humoured but I really don’t care.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 05/09/2018 15:21

There was a two or three part series she did when the Beckhams first moved to LA and she was very funny on that and I really didn't expect to be that entertained.

Cantusethatname · 05/09/2018 15:24

I think the way she puts her children out there is awful.
We've all been 19 or had 19 year olds who try things and aren't that good at them, while trying to look achingly cool and failing. Why let the entire world see him and rip him to bits?
And don';t get me started on the international viewing of a little girl in her swimwear. She is a rubbish mother to let this happen to her child however "funny" she is.

GiveMyHeadPeaceffs · 05/09/2018 15:27

I actually shared this on Facebook and only 1 person watched it. Possibly because most people believe what they read in gossip magazines about her, I suspect. I found it really funny and some of the lines she delivers totally deadpan Grin

Ivaidea · 05/09/2018 15:31

or you could just acknowledge that some of us are intelligent too, don't have anything stuck up our bums but find it lame.

David's hired some slimeball lawyer to get him off a speeding charge. Why doesn't he just pay the fine or go on the speed awareness course? I hope he doesn't get a knighthood.

serbska · 05/09/2018 15:33

I thought it was quite funny.

Totally agree her accent is much smoother than it used to be, not surprising given her social circles now!

He's already got one, hasn't he?

Loonoon · 05/09/2018 16:12

Eliza9917

No knighthood or any other honour and not likely to either. Google it.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 05/09/2018 16:26

I know someone who worked for her as a nanny and has nothing but good things to say about the both of them. They were extremely kind to her during a crap time (not going into details but it was far above and beyond general kindness) and were lovely to work for. She won’t hear a bad word against them!

Gingerivy · 05/09/2018 16:28

He's not alone in that. Loads of people do it.

And for that matter, loads of people are proud of their kids, help them get started in life in their careers if possible, and post pics of them on social media. Why shouldn't they be allowed to as well?

Eliza9917 · 05/09/2018 16:35

Ok, its an OBE he's got. I thought he'd been knighted.

LegoPiecesEverywhere · 05/09/2018 16:42

I did not find that funny at all. It was obvious from the first 30 seconds that it was neither written nor directed by VB.
