But if you put leave in conditioner it goes really nice

It's wavy but not in the right places, and frizzy.

@PickAChew your photo with the Tupperware just made me LOL. Grin

It's long and straight, and once I've combed out the knots it recieves many compliments. I'm lucky really.

It goes to a lovely thick, wave with great volume. Too bad when I give birth soon it'll turn to a dry ratty mess.

But for now it's glorious!

Livinglavidal0ca · 04/09/2018 06:51

Hagrid rings a bell

Witchofwisteria · 04/09/2018 07:11

Shit.

Cailleach · 04/09/2018 07:11

A massive mane of frizz, as per pics above.

Aussie leave-in conditioner is good. Doesn't stop it frizzing totally though.

PickAChew · 04/09/2018 07:18

It was the nearest thing to hand!

If I wash it in the evening, then tame it when I dry it, even if it's 3-4 hours before bed, I often wake up in the morning with some serious flicks.

BingerGeer · 04/09/2018 07:19

Thick, straight hair cut into a pixie / short bob. It dries into the right places, only advantage of hair dryer is warmth on winter mornings, so that’s the only time I use it.

I don’t find conditioner makes much difference, unless I’ve beem swimming when it definitely makes my hair smoother.

Sitranced · 04/09/2018 07:21

Smooth, soft, dead straight, fine.

I don't even have time to blow a hair dryer on it before it's half dry and when I do its dry in less than 30 seconds. I haven't used a brush in a decade either.

Like this, minus the beard!

My hair is the bane of my life!

Wavy Hermione hair. My top layers of hair are fairly smooth and have a curl at the ends. My under layers of hair can form ringlets, but prefer to curl independently.
None of it can agree on which kind of direction to curl in.

It's in great condition because I can't be bothered to straighten or blow dry it without good reason. I don't feel the pressure to regularly argue with my stubborn hair just because fashion (and the beauty industry) says that straight is better.

DelurkingAJ · 04/09/2018 07:57

Straight and fairly neat and by the time I’m at work exactly as it would look if it was blow dried. It isn’t lovely thick glorious hair but I can have a cut that requires no effort (I have had to explain this carefully to a few disbelieving hairdressers over the years).

Morethanthisprovincallife · 04/09/2018 08:11

I never use a hair dryer, wash and leave to dry its fine.
Occasionally ill put some oil on it

CountFosco · 04/09/2018 08:17

I have a short pixie and in the summer I don't bother doing anything to it. Winter I blow dry for warmth!

But even when I had long hair it was fine, ut's thick and has a slight wave. I've had hairdressers tell me my hair is in 'too good' condition. That'll be because I don't dye it, put product in it and rarely blow dry it Hmm.

hugoagogo · 04/09/2018 08:20

A bit fluffier than I would like, but fine.
The only other thing I would normally do to it is a touch of 'surf paste' or something to combat the fluff.

cheesefield · 04/09/2018 08:20

Like a wet spaniel.

redsummershoes · 04/09/2018 08:22

a bit lanky but not too bad.

bananasandwicheseveryday · 04/09/2018 08:25

I have short hair. I wash, leaving conditioner is as long as possible, towel dry (microfiber towel, no rubbing), I use a conditioning hair oil before combing/brushing into my style then leave to dry naturally. Hair is good. Well conditioned, sits into style easily and my hairdresser has even recommended my regime to some of her clients whose hair is dry. Only time my hair gets blow dried is when I'm at the hairdressers or for a special occasion.

prettywhiteguitar · 04/09/2018 08:26

I blow dry for volume otherwise I look like this

serbska · 04/09/2018 08:27

Nice enough, slightly wavy

stegosauruslady · 04/09/2018 08:30

Wavy and big, but not where I want the waves to be!

I use a curling wand to make it behave itself.

Babdoc · 04/09/2018 08:39

That’s what I do every time I wash it! I have it v short and professionally cut every 2 months, so I just wash, brush and go. It’s smart and tidy. I can’t be bothered getting up early and wasting ages on fancy hair care. Ditto make up - never wear that either. Great saving on time and money. Can’t imagine many men waste hours on hair and grooming routines, so as a feminist I don’t see why I should either!

Ironfloor269 · 04/09/2018 08:44

Like this. Because I follow the Curly Girl method. Cowash, apply curl creme and leave to dry naturally. Haven't used a hairbrush or comb for about 6 months now.
