Any magical MN cures for nappy rash?

Weaning DD2 has caused diarrhoea and horrendous nappy rash, looks exactly the same as DS2 who has food allergies so I suspect we’re going to have another allergic baby oh joy

Anyway I cannot clear her nappy rash and it just keeps getting worse, it’s now bleeding when I clean her

Any magical MN tips that I wouldn’t ever have dreamed of?

Metanium yellow cream slathered on worked for us.

My allergic baby had this and ended up with cream from GP as it became infected... miracle cream worked quick no idea of the name sorry

Second yellow metanium. That stuff is magic.

Metanium spread thinly and only use plain water for changes
when clear use zinc and castor oil (boots) to prevent

Calendula cream

manuka honey - the good stuff - sticky, expensive, but brilliant.

At the risk of sounding rather knit your own lentils, when DD1 had atrocious nappy rash, the only thing that made it better were traditional, reusable nappies.

And my grammar isn't normally that bad .

Clean bum with cold camomile tea then metanium

Expensive, but works on everything, including nappy rash. It's like magic.

Metamium with a thin layer of sudocrem over the top (I'm not sure why, but worked better than just one on its own for us). If that doesn't sort it, worth checking with pharmacist or gp, as it's possible to get thrush and you may need antifungals to clear it. Good luck!

used unscented wipes and aqueous cream for my lot

I slather everything in Savlon. Everything. Insect bites, cuts, nappy rash, heat rash, piles, thrush, you name it. Everything gets Savlon and I've not been failed yet.

Mine suffered terrible with nappy rash :( i hope it clears up soon op.

Another vote for metanium, I still keep it in my medicine cabinet as it helps with so so much. If I remember rightly it stinks, but it is amazing, cleared both my boys up really quickly.

It didn't help for my poor DD though who ended up needing a steroid cream from the Dr when she was teething and it caused horrendous nappy rash.

I found Barts Bees nappy rash cream the best

My mother in law swears by beaten egg whites if you are looking for something a bit more natural, I never used it for my DSs, but it didn't work for my DD, as mentioned in my previous post though, hers was so bad it required steroid cream from my GP
