Not sure about this as it is highly irritating to have someone jumping around you pretend to 'box' and he could have poked her by accident. She was in a car accident recently and could be tender there. Some could say she had a right to complain even though he was obviously not deliberately trying to hurt her.

The asking for him to be removed from the house (if she did that) and claims that he'd 'beaten her up' were a complete overreaction of though.

I think there is something wrong with her. That’s not an excuse but to have this bad of a reputation and known to be toxic wherever she goes, there is something not quite ticking right. She shouldn’t be on telly or the papers, she needs to go live somewhere and do something which gives her no extra attention as I expect that is what she craves.

Unfortunately she will be used to as a reason on why people don’t believe women which is unfair. When men do something wrong we are constantly told not all men, a woman lies and her behaviour is used to judge all women.

GabsAlot · 03/09/2018 10:42

shes said she overreacted what for 2 days? its all bull to cover herself

Allthatsnot · 03/09/2018 10:46

She has given credence to my ex and millions like him every time he tells a new victim I lied about the things he did.
I have triggers, I have been triggered, she has managed to make every DV victim ever look like a manipulative lying psycho who can not be trusted in case someone upsets them.
People who stay because they are told every day bo one will believe them now have that re-inforced that little bit more.
This woman is dangerous and yes I am taking it personally.

Hippomammy · 03/09/2018 10:49

Really infuriating that she wasnt challenged more on saying he punched her repeatedly and hard. If you buy her excuse of overeaction because of past experience ( which I don't), that still doesnt excuse lying. And it boiled my blood the way she brought up Ryan's apology as if he had admitted some wrong doing. He apologised because he was being the bigger person and probably under pressure from Big Brother, not because he felt he had in any way harmed her! I see her previous management have tweeted, another person from her past who seems to have no time for her. Its very telling really, i haven't seen one person come out strongly defending her

I'm not remotely surprised she's already doing interviews and more than likely being paid a small fortune for them. This was always going to happen with her - it's little more than a PR stunt and Ryan was her unwitting accomplice. Could have been any of them. She is loving this attention. Mission accomplished.

chicken2015 · 03/09/2018 11:08

I said this on other thread, this L

chicken2015 · 03/09/2018 11:09

Sorry pressed send to quick! This is what i said on other thread
I would agree that she could have felt everything was heightened hence her feelings on it were wrong and being genuinely sorry, if other co stars of hers didnt come out and say she falsely accuse them, because they were not in bb environment, clearly she has done this before and now we just seen it happen and if there were no cameras she would have carried on peddling how wronged she was. Its only because we can see she was wrong she has admitted it.

CaptainMarvelDanvers · 03/09/2018 11:12

I think she was almost managing to convince Ryan that he had hurt her. She is a dangerous individual who knows how to play on people and get them to believe her, especially men.

If she doesn’t have a personality disorder I’d eat my hat. Not just because of this incident but her general “off” behaviour, her constant need for attention and the toxic trail of debris she leaves in her wake. She seems to always be on in one way or another, it’s hard to maintain that.

I’m not saying that to excuse her behaviour, infact unless someone is made of Teflon for toxic behaviour than I would suggest them to take a wide berth.

BastardGoDarkly · 03/09/2018 11:17

I think she comes across terribly in the JV interview. She's been caught blatantly lying, and there's no way round that.

weemouse · 03/09/2018 11:27

Performance of a lifetime on Jeremy Vine, so cool, calm, collected and putting just the right amount of emphasis on the key words to make us have empathy towards her.

I think she's a hard as nails, calculating witch.

She carried on this behavior for 2 full days in the house, and didn't bat an eyelid when pressed by the others, that her causation could ruin his career and reputation.

I'm not buying a word of this "apology"

Complete damage limitation PR stunt.

Bluebolt · 03/09/2018 11:42

You could tell that the panel had not really watched it. On one had saying she was triggered by previous DV whilst claiming in the house she had never been hit that hard in all her life and couldn’t sleep because of the pain. The incident can cause upset and panic but long lasting physical pain. That is delusional.

ShatnersWig · 03/09/2018 11:47

Over-reacted? She went and showed someone else how hard Ryan supposedly hit her!

I notice they tried to mentioning something about other former colleagues having problems with her and she said "Not everyone will like you" or something to that effect. Yesterday morning her former agent tweeted this:

"We haven’t represented Miss Pallett for over a year. We recognise the person everyone is now seeing very well. Best wishes to Ryan and his family"

That's quite an astonishing admission.

30hours · 03/09/2018 11:48

Can anyone tell me where I can watch the Jeremy vine interview please?

DioneTheDiabolist · 03/09/2018 11:55

If she doesn’t have a personality disorder I’d eat my hat.
Yep, an Antisocial Personality Disorder.
It is fascinating to watch from the safety of your sofa with a Brew. Fucking terrifying if it's your RL.Envy

Can anyone tell me where I can watch the Jeremy vine interview please?

30hours · 03/09/2018 12:17

dustarr73 thank you

serbska · 03/09/2018 12:27

Aren’t there cameras everywhere? How did she think she would get away with lying?

EleanorLavish · 03/09/2018 12:31

Jaysus! That is truly damning from her previous management company. It's as if they've all just been waiting for a chance to get her back!
She must be a right PITA.

CarolDanvers · 03/09/2018 12:41

Bit of an own goal for the management company though. I wouldn't want them to air me out after the event if I ever messed up so I probably wouldn't take my business there at all.

CarolDanvers · 03/09/2018 12:44

Also just seen some threads on FB where people are talking about scratching her evil eyes out and calling her the most vile names. She's totally wrong and I have said so previously on this thread but I get a definite sense of enjoyment and excess vitriol from many at being able to go in on a woman with impunity.

buttybuttybutthole · 03/09/2018 12:48

Thanks for the link.

She is very clever, more articulate than I would have thought.

The most horrific thing that jumped out of that for me was the idea that if the cameras hadn't been there, that would have absolutely ruined that poor man.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 03/09/2018 13:03

I’m surprised they didn’t challenge her more, it was obvious she was going to use this as her excuse and they should have been ready with follow up questions (like the ones above.)

So telling that previous management and co stars are all saying that this is the person they know. The pressure cooker of that house and mob mentality can go a long way to creating a villain - but in this instance she really does just seem to be an awful person.

Thesearmsofmine · 03/09/2018 13:04

I agree butty and if the cameras hadn’t of proved her lies then she would have happily carried on lying and destroying his career and potentially damaging relationships with his partner and even his daughter. Very worrying.

ShatnersWig · 03/09/2018 13:07

@CarolDanvers I should point out their statement was in direct response to a question posed to them which was "Will you still be representing RP after all this?" and they prefaced their reply with "We've not represented her for a year now".

As someone in the industry myself, that is not an own goal at all. They will get a lot of kudos for that, as there are lots of things going on within the industry at present over bullying, harassment, the way producers operate, the way casting directors don't give performers the courtesy of a "sorry, it's no" following auditions.

People are now coming forward (or reiterating previous allegations that were not taken seriously) and so this is hopefully going to make things better all round.

SillySallySingsSongs · 03/09/2018 13:07

Denise Welsh is on LW has worked with her and hasn't pulled puches either.
