How much did your 2nd weigh in comparison to 1st?

I'm expecting my second baby and I'm genuinely terrified of giving birth due to the size my first was. My first was 9lb4 and I had 2nd degree tears. Everyone keeps telling me their second weighed more. I find myself feeling sick at the thought of tearing again or it being even worse. Was there a huge difference in size for you?

DC1 - 5lb9 at 35 weeks
DC2 - 5lb13 at 37 weeks so DC2 would likely have been the smaller of the two if they were full term.

My two were exactly the same weight to the gram!

Both exactly the same weight but number 2 came in 2 pushes - good luck!

Baby 1 : 4lb 8 (35 +3)
Baby 2 : 4lb 3 (34)

Both depressingly taller than me now.

First one came by herself in 1hr 23 minutes start to end. No time for pain relief but I think DH turned a shade greyer that night.

Second was induced (pre eclampsia - managed to get it only on second pregnancy ). Think it took about three hours or so from stitch removal to MW catching her.

DC1 8lbs 8oz at 40+12 (3 day labour and EMCS)
DC2 8lbs 1oz at 39+5 (ELCS)

I don't think DC2 was anywhere near ready to come out though so reckon he would have been over 9lbs if he'd gone to near the same gestation as DC1.

DC1 is a girl though and DC2 a boy and I think boys are on average slightly bigger?

I'm only 5'4 and weigh just over 8 stones so whilst they're not huge huge weights, I think they were pretty big proportionally!

First 7lb 9oz significant tear
Second 9lb 6oz no injury
Third 8lb 3oz no injury

DD1 was 9 lb 5 oz at 41+2
DD1 was 7lb 8 oz at 39+5

DC1 10 lbs
DC2 9 lbs 6
DC3 10 lbs 3

So I weirdly had a small one in the middle (yes that is tiny for me . DC2 shot out really quickly as well compared to the others.

They were all born 40+3
