I love them and have had a crap day. They always cheer me up. Remember the spooky one in Holland? Love the weird ones.

Check out pic 3. You can sit in your glass bath tub whilst chatting to your guests sat round the dining table!

ProgressPenguin · 27/08/2018 19:56

I don’t even understand that whole house/apartment/whatever it is.

Flatpackjackie · 27/08/2018 19:57

I love that place! Not sure about that bath though!

The whole apartment looks like somewhere to party rather than somewhere to live.

hmmwhatatodo · 27/08/2018 23:36

How does that bath work? It looks really uncomfortable. And those sun loungers things outside.... can they get any lower? What a strange place to live.

Ohyesiam · 27/08/2018 23:43

Wow hideous! What sort of person would want to live there? It’s likw living in a waiting room or a shopping centre or something

PickAChew · 27/08/2018 23:46

I want to send Ds2 to tip his box of garish shite into that house.

dingdongdigeridoo · 27/08/2018 23:58

Oh my god, the fingerprints. Even with a daily cleaner that place would look a mess if you tried to live in it.

Here’s a lovely piece of property porn with the most amazing sea view and spacious accommodation, but the worst kitchen I’ve ever seen in a place over a million: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-55741263.html Even my tiny little terraced house has a better equipped kitchen than that.

BlackeyedSusan · 27/08/2018 23:59

that house would cost the nhs a fortune... in accidents as dd and I walk into things/fall over things. It would not mix with autistic meltdowns either..

Longdistance · 28/08/2018 00:00

That kitchen for that property is shit 💩

CalonGlas · 28/08/2018 07:01

So... it's a £1.25m two-bedroom bedsit? With actual padded cell elements. Niiiiice.

Petalflowers · 28/08/2018 07:13

That second house is amazing, apart from the kitchen.

Skyejuly · 28/08/2018 07:17

That kitchen was so out of place.

Petalflowers · 28/08/2018 07:19

elephant in the room

This is a lovely period property, complete with a huge elephant (photo 6).

Skyejuly · 28/08/2018 07:21

Omg. That elephant house is my dream!

Youvegotafriendinme · 28/08/2018 07:23

That second house is gorgeous and then the kitchen? What happened? Do you think they forgot they had one? Very strange!

FabulouslyFab · 28/08/2018 07:23

Isn’t that first place just one big room divided by curtains??? I want to know about the people that lived there! 😁

BasiliskStare · 28/08/2018 07:46

I think Petalflowers house is lovely , not exactly to my taste , but lovely , except I may have to get rid of the blood red ceilings and the weeping angels in the garden before I could actually sleep in it. Grin The elephant looks friendly - If the vendors didn't take him I'd probably just put him out to pasture on the lawn by the pond

NoParticularPattern · 28/08/2018 07:56

I love threads like these. That first one I can’t even work out. Everything is too see through for me to actually be able to see where it all sits in relation to one another. Also that bath looks bloody uncomfortable.

The elephant one isn’t quite my taste- a bit too too traditional! It amazes me that in a house that size they only put a small aga in though. Surely with all that stonework it would definitely stick a big one!!

Anyway nothing to add, just here for the ridiculous price tags with absurdly small kitchens Grin

candlefloozy · 28/08/2018 08:10

Great thread. Elephant scares me and what's shame about that kitchen

Truckingonandon · 28/08/2018 08:30

Well this one isn't awful or crazy but it is unusual and I love it. It's been on the market a long time though. www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-60334876.html

speakfriendandenter · 28/08/2018 09:21

How odd, yet amazing is this?
www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-54785313.html
I can't decide whether I love the oddly shaped/proportioned rooms or if they'd drive me mad.
The wall decor on pic 9 is quite odd, esp in a smaller room.

dingdongdigeridoo · 28/08/2018 10:42

That water tower floor plan is insane. I’d love to do a long weekend there as an Airbnb, or even hold a big party in that crazy basement. I don’t think I’d like living there though.

Yeah dingdong, a party or break there would be awesome!
Espresso, don't worry I was a bit mystified too GrinI also spent far too long looking at the PG tips collage in the kitchen. The owners must love a cuppa Brew
