I love them and have had a crap day. They always cheer me up. Remember the spooky one in Holland? Love the weird ones.

I love houses with lots of small rooms as opposed to big rooms. The water tower is brilliant.

Deathraystare · 28/08/2018 12:37

A lot of them are very 'busy' aren't they? All sorts of things going on. As I loathe loads of glass and chrome and also I cannot stand beams!

When I have a look at really fancy expensive places (for fun) there is always something to disappoint or perhaps I expect a lot for 7 + million (What, no garage?, Only 1 bathroom? No downstairs loo? Only a patio garden?).

Roedean Crescent, London

What is the shell thing in pic 7?!

My day has now been taken over by rightmove! 😕

runningkeenster · 28/08/2018 12:57

Was the Water Tower one featured by George Clarke? It looks vaguely familiar but maybe it was another water tower he helped people convert.

runningkeenster · 28/08/2018 13:03

This is quite interesting:

This one is very blue: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-75198083.html (and a bit of bright purple)

And for sheer expense: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-71300576.html

speakfriendandenter · 28/08/2018 13:03

I'm not sure running, it's the kind of quirky place he looks at though.

Tolmers Road, Cuffley

Question about that mini. How will they get it out?!

tillytoodles1 · 28/08/2018 13:39

Wat's the obsession with white, shiny, floor tiles everywhere? I'd be falling over all the time.

BarbaraofSevillle · 28/08/2018 13:42

The elephant mentioned upthread is clearly a distration to take attention away from the sailing boat.

BasiliskStare · 28/08/2018 13:56

Speakfriend* That basement ( picture 21 ) is just all wrong. It looks like a Dr who set or you would have FBI agents coming at you from round the pillars , shouting with Glock 9s ( or whatever they are ) , held in both hands. Also the outside is a bit creepy & the rooms are odd , I can imaging it is like being in a department store where you keep forgetting which way up or down.

Other than that I love it Grin

BasiliskStare · 28/08/2018 14:01

Sorry Speakfriend I referred to the water tower

Now as for Roedean Crescent I think Picture 7 shows Davros rising above the chaise longue in the bedroom.

Ventress · 28/08/2018 14:15

Way too much marble in some of these. They seem to either be too austere to think about living in, or too rustic. I like the elephant though. I'd adopt him Smile

Not sure about this one Westminter My staff don't currently have to share a bathroom Wink

Private chapel, anyone?

Zamaz · 28/08/2018 14:42

I can't find it on Rightmove sadly to show you, but we recently viewed somewhere with a massive mirror about the bed, and a mini bar set up in the bedroom...

(We didn't buy it)

Zamaz · 28/08/2018 14:43

Notmymug · 28/08/2018 15:50

This one seems to have gone for a shower effective at washing off nuclear waste -pics 10 & 11

Oops, here’s the link

CoolCarrie · 28/08/2018 16:19

That first one is just a posh bedsit!

Thamesis · 28/08/2018 16:21

running I love the fact that the Torquay property boasts easy access to a bus route and Co-opSmile

dingdongdigeridoo · 28/08/2018 16:23

That shower is so weird! It does look like something that’d be used in a fallout shelter.

Love that the estate agent has taken a picture of a spare room full of crap. Wouldn’t want to miss out on the sight of clothes rails and overflowing drawers.

CoolCarrie · 28/08/2018 16:23

We’ve got an elephant in our living room too!

That period house is stunning, beautiful gardens and pool.

AveABanana · 28/08/2018 16:45

It's not right move but: www.struttandparker.com/properties/hadlow-castle

AveABanana · 28/08/2018 16:48

The telephone box is not mentioned in the particulars. And the bar: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-72507554.html#_full-description

MulticolourMophead · 28/08/2018 16:54

Truckingonandon's property looks nice, but is massively cluttered, and perhaps people find it difficult to get past that. It could also be overpriced for the market.

AveABanana · 28/08/2018 16:56

Don't mention the flooding: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-54182718.html

alreadytaken · 28/08/2018 17:10

This is not at all crazy, but it does look like it's meant for hobbits www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-63361288.html
