Where the fuck would you hide the amazon remote?!!! I've turned the house upside down! I know she was doing it to annoy her older sister....

OP posts:
QueenOfMyWorld · 25/08/2018 16:20

We found ours in ds toy box

cheapskatemum · 25/08/2018 18:37

We found ours in the pocket behind the car passenger seat once. We'd been looking for it for weeks!

eurochick · 25/08/2018 18:39

In my pants.

PositivelyPERF · 25/08/2018 18:42

Can she open any of the windows? She may have chucked it outside.

yikesanotherbooboo · 25/08/2018 18:46

I have been known( without succ ss) to crawl about at toddler level to look for hideyholes.
Coal scuttle?
Cutlery drawer?

WhereIsMyDressingGown · 25/08/2018 18:48

In the shed
In the garage
In a plant pot
In the hoover
Under her bed
Under her duvet/pillows/someone else's bed
Under the sofa
In the tool box
In the fridge
In the freezer (I hope it's not there)

ItsJustASimpleLine · 25/08/2018 18:49

My 4 yr old DD hides everything in her dolls house or in a bag. Any bag she's playing with then leaves said bag randomly around the house. So it's a search for that too. Good luck

LumiereLennie · 25/08/2018 19:09

Might she have been pretending it was something specific? Is there a game she plays that includes it? Or could you make finding it into a game? It is hideously easy to lose and tricky to find - the 5yo isn’t our usual culprit though: it’s usually me or the settees to blame... Blush

sirmione16 · 25/08/2018 19:13

In her own bed, under pillow/mattress/toys/under bed.

Here's hoping it wasn't in the bin 🙈

Justgivemesomepeace · 25/08/2018 19:13

Thrown in the furthest possible corner of the cupboard under the stairs. That's ds's favourite binding place anyway.

Fartootiredtobeawake · 25/08/2018 19:29

Dolls house
Toys kitchen cabinet
Dog’s bed
Laundry basket (I’ve found loads there)
Wendyhouse
Under the bed

SnuggleBug7 · 25/08/2018 20:10

Oven gloves - my favourite hiding place when I was that age...
Hope you find it OP!

colditz · 25/08/2018 21:50

Handbag

DailyMailFail101 · 25/08/2018 22:28

I just found my makeup bag today after two months of looking in DS wardrobe, good luck....

Lookatmemeow · 25/08/2018 22:33

I found mine in an old change bag - it was missing for 18 months Angry

Vicky1990 · 25/08/2018 23:04

You need to come up with a cunning plan, you say to her something like;
if the lost things fairy was to find the lost remote control and put it on the table I would be able to get you ( your choice here of what would tempt her). Give her space now to return the remote.
Or; if I cannot find the remote I won't be able to get you.........
Or Father Christmass could be dragged in to this plan.......
Give it a try.

PhilomenaButterfly · 26/08/2018 08:02

In my experience, she'll have forgotten. Mine were always losing their trainer cups, wandering around the house with them and putting them down in random places, then forgetting where they were. I couldn't afford more than one cup per child, so I'd be in a panic that they couldn't have a drink all day.

OhCarrieMathison · 26/08/2018 08:26

In her Dolls House.
In a toy box.
Toy drawer.
Anywhere really 🤷🏼‍♀️

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 26/08/2018 08:55

F
(Sorry OP but I'm hooked on your mystery)

OneWildNightWithJBJ · 26/08/2018 09:43

If you're still looking OP, DS when he was little, hid a room freshener in the veg patch... Found it after a few weeks.

excitedbutsick · 26/08/2018 10:07

Behind the tv? I also vote for in shoes, behind the radiator, under the sheet on a bed, in your chest of drawers, under the sofa. All places I have found lost remotes, toys and cups.

ForeverBubblegum · 26/08/2018 10:10

Through the cat flap, if you have one

PhilomenaButterfly · 26/08/2018 11:04

In my duvet.

yikesanotherbooboo · 26/08/2018 12:10

We're all with you OP... every house in the land has had similar!
It's so infuriating because you know it is there somewhere!
