One of those ride on toys with a lift up seat thingy? Doll house. Hand bag, hers not yours.

Good luck. Our sky remote was inside a shoebox that was inside the toy cupboard. Took 2 weeks to find. Also if she has a bike, ride on of any sort inside the storage compartment is a popular place for missing things

They are probably with my expensive watch and (unopened) brand new bottle of perfume that DS out in a safe place about ten years ago... I did find my credit cards (after I cancelled them) under a rug.

err....ask her? I'm presuming a 4 yr old can talk....

my daughter when about 18 months ran off with my pandora bracelet and I found it a few days later on her dolly's wrist... they do think logically!

Definitely try any and all bags, carriers (dolls buggy/changing bag), random Easter basket etc.

Under pillows, draws in bedroom, under pillow/duvet/bed.

Maybe even pockets of jumpers/coats? Behind the tv or sofa (in a quick throw-away sort of moment).

I’d go for bribery in this instance though 1 first to find remote control gets ...... favourite breakfast tomorrow/a chocolate/favourite book/extra iPad time etc - whatever works.

Just found our Sky Q remote in the 'spy box'... which until half an hour ago was just the box for Greedy Granny?!

On top of the books on the bottom shelf of the bookcase, at the back against the wall. Took 2 weeks to find the remote after 3 year old 'tidied up'!

If they can't remember I think it means it didn't go far from its usual place. In my experience they remember taking it somewhere else so why not focus the search on near the TV area. Imagine where you would quickly hide something?

In a pocket inside the wardrobe or cloak room.

In the washing or ironing basket.

In the craft box.

Inside her wellies.

In the airing cupboard between the towels.

In a school bag or book bag.

In the dog or cat basket.

If she is like my dd it will be in one of her bags. Dd has many handbags and spends her entire life putting things in them and taking them around with her.

Has she slid it under the fridge? Posted it through the cat flap? In the boot of Barbie’s car?

Is it tucked up asleep wrapped in a blanket in the toy cot?

This has happened to me twice recently with our Sky remote and my 2yr old DS.

The first time it was on a shelf of the heated airer (luckily not switched on!) hidden beneath the hanging clothes.

The second time it was posted down the back of the radiator!

If she has a dolls house check the beds.

The last place I found ours was stuffed into a sock, along with several small toys, hidden in the back of one of her toy drawers.

When we were in a similar situation, a few years ago, the missing essential item turned up (2 days later) inside an oven glove ...

When I was 4, I hid my glasses in the hem of the curtain. My mother didn't find them until she took the down for washing six months later. 😁

My baby recently hid it under her cot along with the remote for the fan. Have you checked under her bed?
