I just watched that episode of Bill the minder and I am disturbed!

ShovingLeopard · 19/08/2018 00:15

I remember Silas. Hated it! I remember having to wait through it for the Pink Panther to come on, in the mornings in the school holidays.

This thread has reminded me of Kissyfur. I used to love the two hapless 'gators, Floyd and Jolene.

EnidButton · 19/08/2018 00:19

So was Bill dreaming the whole thing then or what?

Check out Chloe with her massive age gap marriage, magic jelly and fancy named dc. I reckon she's on MN.

silkybear · 19/08/2018 00:32

Samurai pizza cats needs a mention

ChateauRouge · 19/08/2018 01:32

Oh dear, silky, I can still remember the theme tune to that!

Dragonlight · 19/08/2018 02:03

Does anyone remember a show about a little girl and a giant rabbit? All I really remember were rhododendron trees and rabbit peeping out from them. Not a cartoon.

Rebecca36 · 19/08/2018 02:18

Masters of the Universe

luckycat007 · 19/08/2018 02:22

Mighty Mouse?

luckycat007 · 19/08/2018 02:23

Animals of farthing wood

OreliaRoc · 19/08/2018 02:28

@Dragonlight Was it Horatio Knibbles? That film gave me rabbit based nightmares for weeks!

Haven’t read the whole thread and as the OP didn’t respond on the first page I can’t be arsed but does anyone remember this? I was between 5-7 so early 90s possibly made in the 80s on Channel 4 (I think) and it was about a girl with dark hair and her name was Jesus? I don’t have any idea what it was about but it was a real person, not a cartoon.

Does anyone also remember Josie Smith? My friend was at mine after school one day and we got really excited when it came on even though I had never seen it before Confused

actualpuffins · 19/08/2018 04:18

What happened at the end of Dungeons and Dragons? Did they ever get back home? I watched it for years (or it felt like years, one or the other) but never saw the final episode, if there ever was one.

Dragonlight · 19/08/2018 04:40

Orelia thank you! I've been puzzling over it for years but that's it. The rabbit is as creepy as i remember too.

PrivateParkin · 19/08/2018 07:29

I remember Silas - or Silage as my dad called it. We didn't like it much but we used to watch it in the summer holidays -because we were desperate - there was nothing else on. Kids these days don't know they're born!!

CaptainKirkssparetupee · 19/08/2018 08:06

Bill the Minder?
Bill the Minder???

That's nothing like Marco Polo!

GrinGrinGrin

BellMcEnd · 19/08/2018 08:09

Silas was brilliant! I loved it but then I was completely horse mad. The them tube was great too.

Also loved Murun Buchstansenger. I used to watch it with my Grandma.

BellMcEnd · 19/08/2018 08:10

*the theme tune Hmm. No idea what a them tube is.

AmberLangslow · 19/08/2018 09:52

I don’t remember a Bill the Minder at all, it looks mind numbingly dull 😴

Werewolves DH and I both used to love Round the Bend, he has never forgiven Mary Whitehouse for getting it banned!

hugoagogo · 19/08/2018 11:37

I don't remember it at all either- maybe it wasn't shown on Anglia?

BrynhildurWhitemane · 19/08/2018 12:00

I remember Issi Noho, thought I'd imagined it.

But I think most of the 70s and 80s stuff was downright weird.

TeenTimesTwo · 19/08/2018 12:26

th IS SI de up
use NO HO oks

The panda used to fill out magic squares to make the magic work, but wasn't very good at maths so often got it wrong and they didn't work properly. I had the book, don't remember it being on TV.

QuackPorridgeBacon · 19/08/2018 17:48

What an odd little show. Never heard of it before and before my time anyway, I’m wondering if it was him dreaming the whole time?

Mindthecat · 19/08/2018 18:06

That Bill the Minder is possibly the most peculiar thing I have ever seen.

Cleanermaidcook · 19/08/2018 20:24

Don't remember it, no one ever remembers my favourite Hairy Jeremy

Chloecoconut · 19/08/2018 20:35

Have to be honest and haven’t read the whole thread Blush but does anyone else remember Cloppa Castle??
