gower4 · 18/08/2018 23:11

WhatsInAnotherNameChange · 18/08/2018 23:16

Anyone remember Issi Noho?

A magical panda, that lived in a box in a tree and spelt adventures with letters that came out of a bag.

And I take the piss out of In the Night Garden......🙄

WhatsInAnotherNameChange · 18/08/2018 23:18

Bill the Minder?

Wow! I thought Ludwig was obscure....

gower4 · 18/08/2018 23:19

I remember it!!! Only because my dad once commented on the theme tune Grin

RJnomore1 · 18/08/2018 23:25

Does anyone remember murun buchstansanger?

ChateauRouge · 18/08/2018 23:26

Wow- that was pretty.... odd Hmm

I wonder if it was from another Language and not translated properly? Boadicea and Chad??

RustyBear · 18/08/2018 23:29

It was based on a book written by Heath-Robinson (famous for weird and wonderful machines and inventions) first published in 1912.

WrongKindOfFace · 18/08/2018 23:30

Well done Gower!

That’s an odd programme.

KatoPotato · 18/08/2018 23:31

Thank you mumsnet. From reading this thread I have found MY forgotten cartoon!
Been trying to remember it for years - Will quack quack. Why on earth did I like it? 😂

LoisWilkerson1 · 18/08/2018 23:37

Gawd you lot have good memories. Didn't you all take drugs in the 90's? like me

WrongKindOfFace · 18/08/2018 23:43

I think it must have been the 80s programmes that drove 90s teens to drugs. Having had a brief trip down memory lane I can’t believe how fucking terrifying some of the 80s programmes were.

KatoPotato · 18/08/2018 23:49

Msspotty, my question came up because tonight DH was trying to place Will Quack Quack!

He got mixed up with Alfred Johnathon Quack...

As soon as I saw the words “Bill the Minder”, the theme tune came into my head - how bizarre!

@ScreamingValenta no I haven’t read the script, but I do remember it being axed or something (I think)

Candyflip · 19/08/2018 00:01

I loved Murun Buchstansangur RJnomore, it wasn’t a kid’s show though.

JustLikeBefore · 19/08/2018 00:07

Well done Gower
does anyone remember Silas? nobody I know remembers it at all, I remember loving watching it because of the horses in it Grin

AtSea1979 · 19/08/2018 00:08

Used to love the Poddington peas

Down at the bottom of the garden, amongst the birds and the bees there’s a lot of little people called the poddington peas.

But wasn’t it more 90s?

JustLikeBefore · 19/08/2018 00:10

oh and it was badly dubbed in English.
But I can't find an clip in English.

RJnomore1 · 19/08/2018 00:12

Murun was on channel 4 before the news wasn't it?
