I have seen an odd thing in the Standard but it doesn't make much sense. Just says something about hitting another high before the Bank Holiday weekend. That was what I had seen on the forecasts last week but they all seem to amended it now, certainly for London.

there's one forecast with a "feels like 28c" for about 2 hours on Wednesday. So that's probably what they mean. A few days ago, Monday (as in today), Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday were showing as 25, 26, 27, 27 but that all got removed - yay!

so I think it might be a dramatic way of saying "small short lived heat surge on Weds" at least for London, but not a Bank Holiday horror - I hope!

It is hot😐 My app told be it was a "feels like" temp of 29C at around 5pm. And I was swearing buckets just from doing a few jobs around the house.

i live in a very hot flat TWO lots of cavity wall insulation were put in and all windows bar one only open a couple of inches.
