How many times do we have to tell you? Yes we still all hate summer!

(But tentatively looking forward to autumn.)

I felt a bit less sweaty than last time. Hot and muggy here today. Supposed to be 17 and rainy here tomorrow, though! Hurrah!

No.
I don't like heatwave temps either am sorry I don't have the same definition as hot to you though

FurryDice · 17/08/2018 08:11

Thank you for the pm telling me you’ve reported my ‘fuck off’ comment. Good to have a heads up.

The point is, why are you hanging round gloating on this thread? It’s a long running support thread for people struggling with hot temps. Why come on here saying you’re ‘loving it’, ffs?

OP posts:
Yesterdayizdone1 · 17/08/2018 08:36

I don't like I've hot temps
My hot though is over 25c
Why can't you see everyone is different

FurryDice · 17/08/2018 08:43

I can see everyone is different. I’m an intelligent, empathetic person. But this thread is quire explicit in what it’s about and has been about for months.

If you’d read it from the first you would see that many of us live in greenhouse-hot flats where 25 outside means at least 30 inside, so those outside temps mean both nothing and a horrible everything to us.

Read the room! Read the previous threads, ffs.

Ah, it’s not your fault. Maybe you’re just trying to join in, who knows. We’ve had the odd troll so maybe I’m being unfair.

You have a tendency to jump on people very quickly who don't find what you find to be ' hot '
We all cope differently

FurryDice · 17/08/2018 08:52

I don’t aftually have any kind of ‘tendency’. That’s something you’re inferring because you think I’ve done it to you. It’s not my ‘thing’

Thanks for the new thread!

KateGrey · 17/08/2018 10:23

@Yesterdayizdone1 we all find it too hot. The title clearly states that. If you don’t want to be supportive please go away!

I’m roasting. I can feel it getting warm again Sad

Yesterdayizdone1 · 17/08/2018 10:28

NO it doesn't at all
I said I like autumn temps being a bit warmer than average and you all jump on me
It's not roasting imo at the moment
Roasting is 28c and above imo
It's 16c here now
18c in the flat and I am cold

Storm4star · 17/08/2018 10:32

If you are cold Yesterday then go away. You are clearly happy with the current temperature so this thread is not for you. Plenty of other threads out there or start your own :)

Yesterdayizdone1 · 17/08/2018 10:43

This thread is for me as I don't like summer when it's v hot :)
People have different temperatures they find hot :)

Mate you literally told me to fuck off on the last thread when I hadn’t said a word to you. Double standards much?

Everyone is different, you’re right. But surely you can see that it’s very insensitive to come on a thread which has been running for a long time and is populated by people who are really suffering in temperatures above 20 because of their health issues or their living situations, and start posting about how much you are ‘loving it’? It’s no surprise that people are getting the hump.

Yesterdayizdone1 · 17/08/2018 11:45

Am I not meant to enjoy it then just because a few suffer ?
Sorry your suffering but yes I do like 20 degrees c which is Room temperature and not at all hot

ToothTrauma · 17/08/2018 11:48

Nobody’s saying you shouldn’t enjoy it. What we are saying is, can you see that it’s insensitive to use this thread - specifically for people who are not enjoying it and in some cases really suffering - to express that?

I note you have chosen to start a thread about this thread. A) this is against Talk Guidelines and B) instead, why not start a thread about how much you are enjoying the current temperatures?

Yesterdayizdone1 · 17/08/2018 11:51

Nope started a thread about The comment

This is also now a taat then as you've just mentioned said thread
So I shall report this thread

ToothTrauma · 17/08/2018 11:51

That’s not how it works but good luck Halo

Yesterdayizdone1 · 17/08/2018 11:52

Ta

MadisonAvenue · 17/08/2018 12:01

Actually, the thread that you started appears to be a TAAT...

Yesterdayizdone1 · 17/08/2018 12:03

No it's about a comment

wildgirls · 17/08/2018 12:04

What’s a TAAT

ToothTrauma · 17/08/2018 12:07

A thread about a thread.

Look, can we draw a line under this? The thread is totally derailed and not offering any support for people suffering in the heat.

It’s actually fine here today, but the joys of new builds mean that we still needed the AC on in the bedroom last night. It just doesn’t seem to cool down.
