A few days ago, I noticed this blood blister looking thing on my tummy, I've just googled and I'm scared by what I've read :(
This is a fairly new thing as I'd of noticed.

Excuse the stretch marks

BigStripeyBastard · 12/08/2018 19:12

I'd get that checked out, OP. Hopefully nothing but better to be safe than sorry.

Loopylou6 · 12/08/2018 19:17

I feel sick

Don't feel sick.... it's almost certainly nothing. Why don't you ask a pharmacist for an opinion if you don't want to go to the doctor?

Mabelface · 12/08/2018 19:20

Looks like you've pinched yourself on something, like a zip.

Loopylou6 · 12/08/2018 19:25

I googled and it looks exactly like it.
I only wear leggings, so no zip unfortunately.
Anyone have similar?

Ruth2009 · 12/08/2018 19:27

Look up the abcde of moles. That soesnt look dodgy to me, but go and get it checked to put your mind at rest.

Ruth2009 · 12/08/2018 19:29

Sorry, just realised it's a blood blister, not a mole, but even so, I wouldn't be panicking about it.

Hadalifeonce · 12/08/2018 19:29

I've had one of those for years, never given it a 2nd thought.

TheCrowFromBelow · 12/08/2018 19:32

I have a few of these, plus skin tags and moles.
I don’t think they are anything to worry about, but seeing your GP will set your mind at rest and we can’t really diagnose from a photo.

Loopylou6 · 12/08/2018 19:36

Thank you for replies. I reckon its been there a week or so.
Can nasty things just appear?

OP posts:
Littlefish · 12/08/2018 19:43

I have one of these on the back of my arm. It's been there for years.

lurkingattheback · 12/08/2018 19:47

Goggled and it looks like what? Goggle is not your
Friend for diagnosing.

RedLemonade · 12/08/2018 19:48

It would be spectacularly unlikely a melanoma would just appear like that OP. Get your GP to have a look. It does look like a blood blister or a Campbell de Morgan spot- neither of which are nasty, but you’d need someone who knows what they’re looking at to look at it in person.

DeathByMascara · 12/08/2018 19:52

I’ve had one of these! Popped it. Was awesome.

I’ll just head back to Sporner’s Corner...

Loopylou6 · 12/08/2018 19:54

@Littlefish is it exactly the same? Black, perfectly round and slightly raised?
I appreciate all your replies

OP posts:
Littlefish · 12/08/2018 19:57

Yes, exactly the same! I'll try and take a photo of it in a minute and upload it. I once stuck a needle in it to see what would happen. All that happened is that it bled a bit and then stopped. It then had a small scab on it for a few days and then went back to the same as before.

Loopylou6 · 12/08/2018 20:01

Thank you so much x

Loopylou6 · 12/08/2018 21:46

Anyone else?

OP posts:
LeighaJ · 12/08/2018 23:05

When I've had those I just washed the area, sterilized a pin or sewing needle, gently insert, squeeze out whatever is in there, wash again and put a healing ointment and small bandage on. They seem to go away after that.

If you're really worried though then see a GP.

AnyFucker · 12/08/2018 23:11

I have had one of those on my tummy for years

My H has one that grew so big it looks like a 3rd nipple. He is still alive to tell the tale.

Loopylou6 · 13/08/2018 08:23

@LeighaJ @AnyFucker where/are yours jet black? I've really wound myself up about this to the point I'm shaking, pathetic I know. In my defence tho, I'm a chronic anxiety sufferer, who's just managed to come off tablets that I've been on for 12 years Hmm
