Ok I'm thinking about joining the dating pool. My question is what is expected of my down stairs. My first husband it was normal to go all natural my second husband was in a time it was expected to have a clean shave now after being on my own for quite some time I could probably Platt it. What are we meant to do with it these days ?????

My only advice would be your body your rules, meet your own expectations not those of a man.

I trim.. sometimes. On a rare occasion I shave it all off but that's only because I prefer a change sometimes. Dp prefers it bald, I'd prefer it if dp fucked off for the weekend month

Shaved when have time!! Quick edging shave other times!! For a new relationship I have short with sides shaved!!

I have never taken all the hair off. I fluctuate between quite short and then very tufty! Depends if I can be bothered trimming it

Whatever you feel most comfortable with! My rule is when I get a say in how they manage theirs they get a say in how I manage mine - usually shuts them up pretty quick.

But yeah I typically just go for neat and tidy. Using a electronic bikini trimmer makes it much easier and almost impossible to cut myself lol.

Why on earth are you bothered about the fashion or the expectation of your bush? Any man worth his salt won't give a damn about what you do down there. Go with personal preferences, then once in a relationship you can discuss if he would like you to try something different.

The thing is I have a bit of a belly and shaving it off when you can't see it is a bit difficult my I dread that I might get intimate with someone who runs a mile because I'm not up to date with garden grooming

I don't give the minutest fuck what a man prefers my pubic hair to look like.

In the past I've asked DH out of curiosity if he has a preference and his answer is always: I don't care what it looks like, if it's a vagina then I'm sold.

In my experience that's reflective if the attitude of most men who don't have raging porn habits.

I am an adult. Adults have pubic hair. If a man wants me to look almost child like then he's not worth my time.

For myself I tidy around the edges when I can be bothered to make the effort, like I'm going to the beach.

I think there are quite a few dickheads men out there who would 'expect' a naked fanny, I've slept with one or two of them. I used to care, now I just think they should think themselves bloody lucky they got to be near enough to my fanny to have an opinion on it.

Honestly, the ones worth bothering with won't mind either way. I just randomly asked DP if he had a preference and he looked at me like I had 2 heads and said 'whatever works for you'. I alternate between occasionally whipping it all off and (far more often) just leaving it to do its thing. If you think it's going to be something that worries you or makes you feel less confident/sexy (which is bullshit and just evidence of how the whole porn/beauty industry/patriarchal wankfest makes us doubt ourselves and always feel there's something 'wrong with us' - but I still totally get that feeling) then maybe a trim/tidy up is the way to go?

I have mine lasered off so I'm like a slippery dolphin and I loves it- totally my preference, DH couldn't give a crap.

Before I would wax but led to ingrown hairs and other such turn offs. Before that I meat trim, smart but casual style.
