My husband is a notorious half-asleep talker and I've had many bizarre conversations with him - my fave was when he thought he was a Doctor doing rounds on a busy ward. ( he is not a doctor of any description).
Maybe it was similar for Tim and that's why he full named her and used it's the truth twice.

I really want to hear Tim professing his genuine love for Taylor Swift. Not Taylor, you understand, or Tay-Tay, but TaylorSwift. Bless Tim, he really needs to clearer brief before he does these things.

There's an article on Buzzfeed about Kim K talking about the Kanye debacle and how TayTay loves to paint herself as the victim. I think that must have been what the whole taking credit for the song was about, to bolster the narrative about people taking credit for her success, except it spectactularly backfired.
