I also meant to report that although I missed Benedict in Boston, there was a car parked in my hometown with a vanity licence plate that read "Smaug". Alas it neither contained our hero nor was it a Jaguar.

Got tickets for 19th October. All the stalls are basically gone now though. I'd say it will sell out on Monday

All of this is ridiculous. People and I'm sure b have stylists to dress them but anyway when he officially goes out, he looks amazing.

Thanks Sudename, hols so far are great. Weather is still gorgeous (24°C). We've spent a lot of time hiking, letting the kids swim in mountain pools, and tomorrow we're off to an amusement park. The only downer is that the condo is out in the sticks (read: fricking bears and moose - and zero mobile reception). Am at odds with the amazingly crap telly on offer here, but it does explain a bit about how my countrymen are behaving (devolving?) these days.

Keep the links and pics coming - the condo has WiFi so I can ogle from the comfort of the loo.
