Blogging from France today - continuing my investigation into why French women are so thin - do they eat chips? You may be surprised at the answer! www.howilostweight.co.uk

Here is my review of Camp Bestival 2012, which includes hats, pirate dresses, stupid hair, tenuous celebrity, Sophie Ellis-Bextor in the soft play, rude parents, burritos and iniquity on the carousel.

I too just got my mumsnet blogger badge, and after such a long wait that I can only imagine that MNHQ must have had some serious reservations about my character... Anyhoo, my blog is about making stuff out of rubbish with help from a bunch of disabled people, and the occasional toddler or random cat. two posts so far this week about the decorations we just did for a wedding and what the hell to do with all of the leftovers!

Hi,

Short and sweet from me today:

Fresh air and lots of fun

Feeling really nostalgic now, as I used to this myself as a child a lot!

A quick post from me too today:

DS2's favourite book ever. Jazzy in the Jungle by Lucy Cousins. No Maisy in sight but lots of lovely lemurs.

Hello, also new!

My blog is Six Weeks of Summer Club Two cheap or free activities for every day of the summer holidays, in an attempt to fend off wall-art by toddlers and related medicinal gin before lunch.

So far this week we have Why you should go to your local library, and how to make a rain catcher as well as and what to do with all the delightful twigs and pebbly shit your children bring home afterwards

TeWiDoesTheHulaInHawaii · 31/07/2012 22:43

fuzzypicklehead · 31/07/2012 23:06

TeWi--Awesome! Love geocaching!

TeWiDoesTheHulaInHawaii · 31/07/2012 23:16

Thank you! It's great isn't it? I went on the site and realised I am really spectacularly late on the band wagon, but the caches are still there. Very enjoyable.

Hello, I'm new here. Here's the latest from my children as they judge books by their covers - #6 Trainspotting, with a comment from Irvine Welsh himself. tygertale.wordpress.com/2012/07/31/kids-judge-books-by-their-covers-6-trainspotting/

My second offering put together. Rather unexpectedly, about 20 minutes ago. I just felt inspired or maybe bored by the Olympics...
It's about going shopping with the kids.

PetiteRaleuse · 01/08/2012 10:05

Good morning. I have ranted this morning about Olympic-related rumours

PetiteRaleuse · 01/08/2012 10:08

Tygertale I love your blog. Welcome !

BaronessOrczy · 01/08/2012 10:33

Happy Yorkshire Day, folks! Time for a celebration of my home county

PetiteRaleuse · 01/08/2012 11:08

Baroness I'm not sure my coment worked. What I was trying to say was, being a Lancashire Lass, I obviously can't completly agree with you ;) but yorkshire puds are indeed very good as an actual pudding too. Have you seen the sketch?
