Oooh I saw that the other day NeedsAGreenCard. I had to look at it several times in a careful and considered approach to Tumblr viewing. Dedication, that's what you need, mmhmm.

I did a party last year for DS1, age 10. There was DS1 and six of his 9 and 10 year old friends. I will not be repeating the experience. Glad DS2 had a lovely day.

Apparently I couldn't count last night. There were indeed seven children, just that there were two two-year-olds. I swear I wasn't drinking last night.

He's been doing interviews for Parade's End - airing I think 2nd September. These are on Twitter so there's a very good chance you've seen them. However, one tweet was "Was funny, erudite and swore much more than expected. Which was excellent". I don't know why but I find the idea of him swearing really ... I don't want to say hot but my brain has gone on strike so hot it is.

Sounds like BC's Star Trek character might have been revealed. Karl Urban let slip the words "Gary Mitchell" in a recent interview. It means nothing to me, but I'm told it is significant.

Of course it may also be an elaborate plot to throw us all off the scent!

Oh yes, I saw that one too. And imagine how I squealed when I watched "Willy Wonka" (the Gene Wilder version from my childhood) with my kids this weekend.

I melted on the couch like a Wonka bar left out in the sun. (Although actually having the Gene Wilder visual worked more like a cold shower. shudder)

Stuff I want to see BC in (besides my bedroom): romantic comedy, musical. There must be something out there on the horizon.

I'm really disappointed that he chose a Willy Wonka song for his showtune moment.

I would much rather he'd gone for something from Chicago, Guys and Dolls or Cabaret. Sorry BC and any of my threadmates who like it, but I think 'Pure Imagination', and in fact the whole WW musical, is naffola.
