And on it goes ...

No one gave him a second glance?? Shock

Some people have no taste!

LetUsPrey · 13/04/2012 17:05

See I'd have been dead cool about it. Just sauntered over and said "Oh is that today's FT? There's a very good article on that page you're reading. Mind if I read over your shoulder?"

And then I would have spontaneously combusted.

Dead clarsy.

Smophette · 13/04/2012 17:12

Just watched Third Star. Brilliant but my God I wept like a child at the end.
And also that naked pic is rather on the scrummy side.

LetUsPrey · 13/04/2012 17:19

When I watch him in something, eg Third Star or To The Ends Of The Earth, the sensible, grown up part of my brain is thinking he's bloody good isn't it, such a fantastic actor.

The other part of my brain is thinking I want to shag him. A lot. Grin

CaveMum · 13/04/2012 19:04

The one problem with the Star Trek film is that he will, I'm afraid, act all the others off screen. People involved have already said that he steals every scene he is in. He going to make these Hollywood types look like the local AmDram society!

TheAddict · 13/04/2012 19:15

Dear Mr Cumberbatch

I wonder whether you would be so good as to help answer a query we have?

My friends and I have seen a photograph of you, and need - strictly for research purposes - to ascertain whether said photograph is genuine.

It would help our researches greatly if we could compare the photograph to the real thing.

You need bring no props with you, as we will happily provide a newspaper.

See you in the jug and bottle of the Ferret and Eartrumpet at 6.30?

Believe me, yours most sincerely

TheAddict

IAmSherlocked · 14/04/2012 11:04

Ahem - TheAddict - much as I love your letters (and they do make me laugh out loud) - I think you have made a teeny error in that last one:

I know you meant to write:

You need bring no props with you, as we will happily completely forget to provide a newspaper.

sloppygirl · 14/04/2012 12:23

Hi All,
thanks for good wishes, Lady Clarice, The Addict and Let Us Prey. ( Loving your letter TheAddict. Made me laugh lots..).OKay, but have to limit computer time, maybe for weeks to come. How will I survive, especially as I watch so many posts on You Tube?! (Mostly BC.) There is no other way. I will have to resign job.

Looking forward to watching 'Oliviers' tomorrow night. Hope BC. wins. Worried One Man Two Govnors will sweep the board. BC will loose out. AGAIN !! MUST stay calm...not good for me to get hysterical....!! keep hitting damn wrong keys...

LetUsPrey · 14/04/2012 16:41

I am tired and having a sulky day.

Starting to feel better

Even betterer (not keen on the jacket though)

TheAddict · 14/04/2012 22:25

IAmSherlocked

I thought that if we provided the newpaper we could have hours of endless fun adjusting it to our own individual tastes...

Alternatively, of course, there are lots of really interesting articles in the FT Hmm which we might have pre-clipped out... Wink

Smophette · 15/04/2012 01:40

LetUsPrey I love love love that first pic! What a gorgeous smile!

LetUsPrey · 15/04/2012 08:01

Thanks Smophette. I brush regularly .... oh, you meant BC! Grin

Smophette · 15/04/2012 10:15

[rushes in]

Have you seen this???

[faints]

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 15/04/2012 10:43

Prey, that first pic made me feel seriously funny in my tummy!

God, I can't wait for Hawking.

LetUsPrey · 15/04/2012 11:52

CaveMum - how can blowing on a cup of tea and sipping it be so flipping sexy? Obviously easy when you're BC but still.

I've set Hawking to record but it's not showing up properly in my planner. It just says searching. It's showing up on my Sky+ app thingy though. Hmm

LetUsPrey · 15/04/2012 14:13

Watching part two of To The Ends Of The Earth. Started with a nekkid BC washing his clothes and himself nekkid in the rain on the deck. Nekkid. And then he ran nekkid down the stairs and you see his beautiful nekkid backside.

holmessweetholmes · 15/04/2012 14:16

Argh! When are all these BC delights on tv? I have just spent 4 nights freezing my arse off in a tent in Devon, with a dead phone. In other words, NO BC fix for ages. Am feeling seriously deprived. Don't want to miss anything, even if I have to record it and watch it when dh is out I have time.

LetUsPrey · 15/04/2012 14:24

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I have just done something really really really stupid. I had about 10 minutes left of TTEOTE when DH and DS2 came home. I pressed stop and have then deleted it by mistake. Sad

LetUsPrey · 15/04/2012 14:30

There are only two things that could persuade me into a tent anywhere. One is BC and the other is Steve Backshall.

The Oliviers is on BBC red button tonight from 6 I think. Don't know if BC will be there.

Last part of TTEOTE is on Tuesday on TCM at 9pm or TCM+1 at 10pm. The Marple thingy isn't on next week . Hawking should be on BBC4 on Tuesday at midnight but it's not showing in my on screen TV guide. Think that's all.

holmessweetholmes · 15/04/2012 14:48

Many thanks for the tv info, . I still haven't seen any of TTEOTE, or Hawking, or The Last Enemy yet.

LetUsPrey · 15/04/2012 14:58

Not seen Hawking or The Last Enemy either.

Excellent suggestion re the Brew. Phwoaaar!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 15/04/2012 16:32

The Last Enemy is good in a slightly predictable, second-string miniseries way.

Hawking is a first-string TV movie. Can't wait!

LetUsPrey · 15/04/2012 19:46

Oooh thanks for that SeaShells. Very very well deserved award although I haven't actually seen it so I'm not sure how I can actually comment on it
