And on it goes ...

We may have had already, but I felt like watching and posting it again. SOooooooo adorable.

Ah, the whole point of the apricot jam is that it is remarkably sticky - I imagine (frequently) that the only way to remove large portions of said preserve from one's body - or, in this case, someone else's body - would be in the shower.

Should BC take me up on my kind offer, I am more than willing to consider the substitution of the foodstuff of his choice.

Smophette · 09/04/2012 10:40

:D TheAddict. Would you feel less for him if he covered you in gherkins?
Oooh I do like the David Tennant and Cumberbatch sexwich. Yum

TheAddict · 09/04/2012 10:59

Smophette: I'm not entirely certain that's it's possible to cover someone with gerkins, but if BC would like to have a go, I'm certainly not going to object.

I would, however, draw the line at anything sprout-related.

LetUsPrey · 09/04/2012 11:23

I'd rather just have pure, nekkid BC for impure purposes. I've still factored in the showering in great detail so that's okay.

LetUsPrey · 09/04/2012 11:53

This should be a Twitter link.

LetUsPrey · 09/04/2012 11:55

Well, that didn't quite work. It links to an article but the tweet is from Radio Times to re-tweet the tweet if you want BC on the cover of the RT.

LetUsPrey · 09/04/2012 14:12

DH is out with the DC. Today my ironing is being accompanied by part one of To The Ends Of The Earth. He fills out a pair of breeches rather well [buwink]

CaveMum · 09/04/2012 21:59

Quiet day in BC Appreciation world!

Watched Starter For 10 this afternoon, having recorded it several weeks ago. Not a whole lot of BC, but he stole every scene he was in Grin

I see on Twitter that it's been confirmed that BC will be attending The Avengers premiere in LA on 11 April. There will be a live stream of the red carpet here on the night.

LetUsPrey · 09/04/2012 22:10

Wanted to post this hours ago but it would've made five posts in a row which, even by my standards, smacks of excess. Smile

Watched TTEOTE earlier. Ver good and BC was, of course, 'mazing.

CaveMum · 09/04/2012 22:26

Can't open your link Prey, though it may just be my phone.

Not sure if we've had this picture before, but who cares, 'tis fabulous!

LetUsPrey · 09/04/2012 23:01

The link was to Radio Times on Twitter. BC will be on the cover tomorrow. I assume they mean online RT. Not sure.

That picture CaveMum - yes it has and yes it is!

Night.

CaveMum · 10/04/2012 08:30

News flash from Cumberbatchweb: Hawking will be repeated on BBC4 on 17 April. It's not on till midnight, so probably best to record it.

CaveMum · 10/04/2012 12:05

The new edition of Radio Times, I wonder if sales will increase this week Wink

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 10/04/2012 12:09

Dunno, CaveMum, if other people are like me there'll just be an increase in people 'discreetly' reading it in the corner of WH Smith. Smile

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 10/04/2012 12:33

I shall be snaffling my copy from my mother. She gets RT every week. I'll come up with a feasible excuse as to why I want it.

I shall also be setting Hawking to record - thanks CaveMum.

IAmSherlocked · 10/04/2012 14:04

Came on to tell you about RT but as usual am too late! Have my copy altho the article inside is v. brief - but there is another gorgeous pic of him and flattering words by Danny Boyle about what a great actor BC is Grin

Will set Hawking to record - thanks.

TheAddict · 10/04/2012 17:21

There's a scan of the RT article (though almost impossible to read) and other goodies here: ladyt220.tumblr.com

  • for some unaccountable reason the third photo on this link is making me weak at the knees and almost incapable of incoherent speech -

AND whilst watching the tv whilst ironing earlier I see that ITV 3 are about to repeat Miss Marple - including Murder Is Easy. I think the repeats start on SUnday, but lost concentration due to (a) an unexpected appearance of BC on the screen (b) the fact that in my excitement at (a) I ironed my arm.

Damn you, Cumberbatch. The Addict is in need of a liberal application of Savlon and a Big Hug. In return for which I promise I'll lay off the apricot jam.

LetUsPrey · 10/04/2012 17:55

Sorry TheAddict but your account of you ironing your arm because of BC distraction made me giggle a little bit. I hope your arm's not too sore.

I rather quite liked the second picture.

TheAddict · 10/04/2012 18:02

Prey

Oh, I have no objections to any of the photos, you understand... just that the third in particular appears to affect my hormones...

Being the innocent that I am okay, you can stop laughing now - seriously, I'm not usually, if at all, into whips and similar, but he could definitely make me change my mind...

TheAddict · 10/04/2012 18:04

TheAddict would also like to add that the only reason that the TV was on at all was because 'Heartbeat' was on, and it might, just might, have been one of the two episodes in which BC appears...

LetUsPrey · 10/04/2012 18:17

My affection shall we say for BC and a riding crop is well documented.

I have set Hawking to record and also the Marple programme. I've series linked it as the first one is Pocketful of Rye. Can't just record the one. It would look strange. Doesn't he ride a motorbike in Murder is Easy? BC straddling a motorbike. Phwwooooaaarrrr! Grin

TheAddict · 10/04/2012 18:35

yes, 'Murder is Easy' is the one with the motorbike scenes....

TheAddict swoons

CaveMum · 10/04/2012 18:41

I own several riding crops, and am willing to test which is best if Mr Cumberbatch should so wish Wink

LetUsPrey · 10/04/2012 18:46

If you have several riding crops CaveMum, you should lend them out so we could each test a few one each. Tis only fair.

TheAddict · 10/04/2012 20:01

Oh blast and damn...TheAddict's plans for sureptitiously purchasing a copy of the Radio Times instead of the other-listings-magazines-are-available one we normally buy have foundered ... OH insisted on walking down to local shop with me: while I was squinting slantendicular-wise at the beauty that is BC on the cover, OH commented 'Oh look, isn't it that actor you like?'

'Is it?' I replied in a casual manner, and came away clutching two Malteser bunnies instead.

Never thought I'd say chocolate is a poor substitute....
