Dear Benedict

I don't care how muscular (or non-muscular) your divine body is at present.

Take me away from all this.

Please!

Pleadingly

The WAYWB blog now has a different admin - still bloody wonderful Grin

Quote from Simon Pegg:

"Benedict is such a good guy, he?s a really sweet person and I love that he?s getting this success because he?s also a great actor. I worked a lot with him on Star Trek. He is part of the threat in the film.?

And Louise Brealey:

"He?s heaven. You just want to run your fingers through his hair all the time [?] He?s just a really nice, caring good egg, and I?m just so happy for him that he?s become a megastar, it?s brilliant. I think he?s quite surprised by the whole thing, but he?s adapting."

They've been Cumberbatched Grin

LetUsPrey · 07/06/2012 22:40

Arf at they've been Cumberbatched!

I want to run my fingers through his hair too, albeit a lot more slowly than this

LetUsPrey · 08/06/2012 20:47

Benedict back in the day Smile

LetUsPrey · 08/06/2012 22:13

That insurance ad's just been on again.

In honour of the French Open

CaveMum · 08/06/2012 22:18

That picture brings back wonderful memories of the interview.

"Money or sex?" "Sex"

"Good cop or bad cop?" "Bad cop!"

I ave the Horseracing channels on all afternoon at work - it's my job, I'm not skiving! - and the Hiscox ad was on 3 times this afternoon. How I got any work done I do not know Grin

LetUsPrey · 08/06/2012 22:45

I have both of those as text alert options on my 'phone, along with riding crop and a damn good shag. Grin

CaveMum · 09/06/2012 10:51

I, er, um [faints with lust]

LetUsPrey · 09/06/2012 12:05

Oh that's rather nice Smile

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 10/06/2012 09:53

You know I loves him, but honestly, that's not his best hair look, now is it?

LetUsPrey · 10/06/2012 10:10

I like his ginger curls ... and the black curls as Sherlock ... and the black straight hair he's been sporting recently ... and the TTSS look ... and the brown/ginger slightly wavy hair ...

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 10/06/2012 10:44

I'm not keen on the Sherlock ringlets ? a bit Jeremy Clarkson.

I like <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=benedict+cumberbatch&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=sO0&sa=X&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&biw=957&bih=1121&tbm=isch&prmd=imvnsuo&tbnid=h6HKltE2fpnjmM:&imgrefurl=www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/features/3203737/Sherlock-Holmes-Benedict-Cumberbatch-helps-disaffected-teens.html&docid=XqCMpKVzbYEb9M&imgurl=img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01153/SPREAD-MAIN_1153979a.jpg&w=280&h=390&ei=LWrUT7vwEIri8QPo8uijAw&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=728&vpy=505&dur=32&hovh=265&hovw=190&tx=95&ty=106&sig=100905212096207828663&page=1&tbnh=170&tbnw=151&start=0&ndsp=22&ved=1t:429,r:12,s:0,i:163" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this hair

and, weirdly, because it's a bit 'annoying posh boy', <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=benedict+cumberbatch&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=sO0&sa=X&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&biw=957&bih=1121&tbm=isch&prmd=imvnsuo&tbnid=JyjygLv_OFlXDM:&imgrefurl=www.imdb.com/name/nm1212722/&docid=RHXHdRSCUWDH4M&imgurl=ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTU5MDkwNDg3MV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNjI5NTIxNw%2540%2540._V1.SY314_CR8,0,214,314.jpg&w=214&h=314&ei=LWrUT7vwEIri8QPo8uijAw&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=230&sig=100905212096207828663&page=1&tbnh=165&tbnw=108&start=0&ndsp=22&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0,i:125&tx=80&ty=19" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this hair too.

Of course, I'm not THAT fussy; if he turned up with a mullet I wouldn't exactly turn him away ...

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 10/06/2012 10:53

Me neither, LadyClarice, me neither Grin

LetUsPrey · 10/06/2012 14:45

I love WAYWB so much!

And I want to watch Third Star again

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 10/06/2012 14:54

I'm desperate for some new Benedict activity ? rewatching stuff is actually losing its appeal a bit. Yes, even A Study in Pink and Third Star!

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 10/06/2012 15:05

Are you going to watch Frankenstein? I've got a ticket to see it with JLM as the monster but, having seen some very very brief clips of BC in that role, I want to see it in reverse too. It looks heartbreaking, but there's no way I can do it.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 10/06/2012 15:10

Yes, twice Blush; I couldn't decide on which way round to see it ...

In fact, the first one's the week after next! Yay!

Benedict was SO good as Dr Frankenstein; such an underwritten role and JLM didn't do much with it but he made it into a minor triumph.

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 10/06/2012 20:48

What a smile!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 11/06/2012 09:32

Gorgeous!

His facial expressions are so ... expressive and infectious. I can imagine in conversation he's one of those people who when he smiles, you smile.

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 11/06/2012 18:42

In my head when he smiles, I jump him! Grin

CaveMum · 11/06/2012 18:53

Bang go my ovaries
