Dh is out overnight. When he left this morning, he said 'What are you going to do tonight? Probably watch Sherlock Bloody Holmes.' The very idea! Hmm... I'm thinking The Great Game followed by Scandal in Belgravia. Or is watching two episodes excessive ?

I would say two episodes = necessity, not excessive.

If you're going to watch 2, why not watch 3 and get through a whole series in one night?

That's what I thought. Incidentally, dh does like Sherlock. The 'Sherlock bloody Holmes' remark makes me think he might perhaps have noticed that my admiration for bc is not based solely on his fine acting. But rather on his fine... everything else.
