Apparently it's something to do with the fact that it was only 3 episodes, so it didn't qualify for Best Drama.

Steven Moffat has said on Twitter it WAS eligible, it just 'didn't make it to the final four'.

The first series won Best Series last year, didn't it? Or was it the year before ... Maybe they've changed the eligibility rules? Any road up, clearly it was eligible for something, just didn't make it.

Perhaps they thought it was overkill, what with Benedict, Martin and Andrew Scott all being nominated?

This isn't sour grapes, honest, but is the Best Series line-up a little bit weak? Scott and Bailey is the strongest of the lot IMO, and I hope it wins. Spooks was mediocre, surely (or certainly had passed its best after a few series), The Fades was poor IMO and also in the opinion of my DP, who has a much higher tolerance for sci-fi than I do. I can't comment on Misfits as I've never seen it, although I know it's very well-regarded.

Still, very nice to see The Crimson Petal ... nominated, and the amazing Olivia Colman. Hope she wins!

BBC website is saying that there was a rule change for Best Drama which meant there needed to be 6-19 episodes in a series to qualify.

Maybe it was on the longlist for Best Miniseries then? From what Moffat says, it was certainly considered for something at some point.

I am trying to see Third Star on IPLayer, but I can't seem to find the link to play it..it gives me download options, but then there is no response..the actual film is there, but I can't get to it..Can anyone tell me what I should do? I have not had IPlayer problems before, but they do seem to have played with the format. If I can't get it I will go bananas. Thanks..!

Girlfriend over on Friday night. Seeing Frankenstein with her...she said..'BC. is very funny looking ...' I was speechless. Fixed her with hard stare and asked her if she wanted more salad. I would just not stop talking about him, but right now it is like, I imagine, it is when you have an affair.
