Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you are all having a brilliant time. We celebrated with our friends, and am stuffed full as I post this.

This is my latest blog post, Nigella Lawson's Chocolate Chestnut Pots. Surprisingly light for a Nigella recipe :)

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire never tasted this good. Decadent chocolate and chestnut pots de creme with Frangelico

Merry Christmas!!

I'm seriously excited today... I think my first post for the Frothers will be appearing on the Frothers site within the next hour. (Can't quite work out the timing difference as it says it'll appear at 8am and we're at 9.30 in the UK now!)

Regardless... excited to be a part of the process of raising awareness on the subject!

In the meantime, here's a link to my cheeky own yummymummyreally blog post at yummymummyreally.blogspot.com/2011/12/christmas-eve-eve-fun.html

Hopefully it's a good bet for a little smile! Xmas Wink

Hello and Merry Christmas (for yesterday!)

Here is today's post Boxing Day

I am a bit of an idiot and managed to post my last blog post link on the wrong thread, so if you see it there, please don't laugh too loudly at my stupidity! Grin

Lifeofanexpatparent · 26/12/2011 14:32

Merry Christmas, everyone! We had a lovely day. Hope you did, too. Post up about my traditions growing up in America vs traditions now.

Christmas at Downton - a spoiler free review of sorts.

Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas! Here's a rather muted Boxing Day post:

Skool Playground

Nothing to do with New Year or Christmas but happy new year to you all (actually I hate new year and hate January/February) bah humbug!

Shouting out the merits of Tupperware, particularly at Christmas, at yummymummyreally.blogspot.com on Tuesday 27th dec.

Off to have another Brew now...and maybe a Biscuit or two!

Cinnamonstix.. Really like the wooden garage. I much prefer the wooden toys. They last so much longer and are able to be handed down to future generations.

The plastic ones seem to fall apart if you so much as blow on them. I am fed up with reattaching bits of toys this Xmas already!

Would have commented on your blog site, but couldn't get it too work. Probably me, not the site!

Blogged about Christmas in the wilds of the Lake District and forgetting to take my children's stockings. They are 17 and 20 though!

Cinnamon, we actually have the plastic garage, but feel justified as we got it for 3 quid at a carboot and it will probably live outside in the summer! :o

CinnamonStix · 28/12/2011 17:17

yummymummyreally I completely agree! The wooden toys are just as pricey as the plastic ones, might as well get the one that's more pleasing to the eye. The car garage was actually a bargain, £45 reduced to £25 in ELC!

Dedalaus 3 quid is an excellent price for that, to be fair, I probably wouldn't be able to say no to such good value..
