Hello, Dilly Smile

Here's my Linky post for the week, along with a notice of some time off blogging for Christmas.

Mine is a very short post today, project 104

DillyTinsel · 18/12/2011 19:31

Will you reach your target omdb? I'm pissed off that I'm not feeling well, have missed whole weekend crafting for Christmas - panic!

The search for Sexy Thermals continues!

Here is my latest offering. So cold and wet here, so this post continues to chart my ongoing search.

initial excitement about Xmas is wearing thin now there is only 6 more sleeps and I still haven't got a pressie pile for hubby that I am happy with... And he keeps being himself stuff off eBay! Stop it! I shout, to no avail. Aaggghhh.

yummymummyreally · 19/12/2011 07:04

'buying stuff' would make more sense than ' being' now wouldn't it?!

FiveHoursSleep · 19/12/2011 08:49

My baby is now 10

overmydeadbody · 19/12/2011 08:54

Dilly, fingers crossed, I should reach my target by the end of December. That is, of course, provided nothing unexpected happens in the next few weeks to set me off course!

Flubba · 19/12/2011 09:09

I have two my table runner and a lovely Christmas greetings from Alaska [[http://madebyyourstruly.wordpress.com/2011/12/18/hallelujah-its-christmas-time-not-made-by-yours-truly/ this second one is a bit of a cheat!)

PetiteRaleuse · 19/12/2011 09:56

Good morning. I have blogged about being insulted online. By people who hide behind anonymity. Again.

overmydeadbody · 19/12/2011 11:02

I have two more, project 105 and project 106.

Project 106 was all about my olive penguins I made for a Christmas party. They went down very well but be warned, if you want to make these, they take an age, they are soooo fiddly and time consuming and too hard to be passed on to young helpers to make.

overmydeadbody · 19/12/2011 11:06

That is shocking Petite. I have left a comment on your blog.

PetiteRaleuse · 19/12/2011 11:11

Yeah I was ironically more upset about the poker player than anything else I have ever received.

BaronessOrczy · 19/12/2011 17:27

How are you getting on, OMDB? will you make it?

I've literally just posted a recipe for Christmas cookies

Petite, that's awful. You ok?

PetiteRaleuse · 19/12/2011 19:23

Yeah I'm good thanks :)

Lifeofanexpatparent · 19/12/2011 21:29

Hi BsDad. Have had a similar experience as a TA. Have commented. Hope it's okay. Don't pretend to understand what it's like from my short experience with the boy I mentioned, but sounds like you are doing a cracking job.

Worked today. So tired from running this course, but tomorrow is the last day. Should just be thankful to have a job, I suppose (even if still on maternity leave). And so it's a short one. Which carol do you prefer?

SenseofEntitlement · 19/12/2011 22:01

Hi all :)
Blogging is starting to take over my life. I seem to always be either actually writing or doing admin stuff for Camel's Hump, reading other blogs, looking into possible posts for CH and matching them to a writer who wants to write but needs inspiration or promoting the damn thing everywhere!

Still, stats are slowly but surely going up, and we seem to be gathering loyal readers, which is always good.

OK, some of our latest posts:

Does The Pope Shit In The Woods?
The Lancashire Hotpots at 53 Degrees, Preston
Missing, believed hiding behind the sofa
The Ultimate Winter Drink

What do people think of how CH is going? I think I get too immersed in it to see it objectively, iyswim.

I hosted a food event this week. Four food bloggers came to my house, where I made butter chicken and we live blogged/ tweeted and instagrammed our way through the session.

My poor DH is still looking a bit stunned at all the commotion :-) One food blogger is enough for him, I suppose.

Recipe and links are all here Liveblogging Butter Chicken

ScatCatShoo · 20/12/2011 00:22

I've got one busy week this week, but will be catching up with all you guys tomorrow and Wednesday!
