Morning all, oh it's all drama here today, lots of panicking builders who've done things wrong. Just what I need leading up to Christmas. And I've got to write my cards now.

I wonder if my DM is up to sending me an email with everyone's addresses on as I never keep an address book.

I've lost my address book and will have to go and visit my aged parents to get the family addresses - I'm not strong enough to spend half a day on the phone while they dictate them!

I have had a thoroughly virtuous day. I have made a load of stuff for the Brownies Christmas bizarre. After mopping the floor, I have steam-cleaned the rug and generally made up for months of housework neglect been extremely diligent. I did toy with the idea of getting hot and steamy with Mr Thornton, but decided to concentrate on the ironing instead. Boom boom.

What has happened to Messire Gisborne? Mayahap he has fallen overboard on the long sea journey to the island? I do hope he can swim.

I have no idea, Maud, but if he has been bandying his charms about with such profligacy, he's probably drowning in wanton wenches by now.
