I thought another Academician mentioned ages ago that that home vid of the dancing in the garden had been taken down. Anyway, I have just spent ages searching fruitlessly in the Bibliotheque de Bing for the photo of him strutting his stuff in a bar. So here instead is another curiosity.

The biggest defect of the garden dancing vid as I remember it was that it was in the wrong ratio so he looked short and Hobbity. The poor lamb - not many of us have to contend with our youthful indiscretions being published online for the riff raff to see.

As far as I can see, the answer to all Spiro's pudding questions is custard, although I might go for ice cream with the strudel, at a push.

Ice-cream with all of them, Spiro. Custard with none of them. Custard is the food of the devil.

50/50 then - Mr S is a custard man. I like extra thick cream, or vanilla ice cream (although would probably go for custard with sponge pudding).

I actually really like custard cold on a decent trifle or straight out of the pot!
