Well, it's about time.

Now all we need are furnishings and decorations...Wink

No Twigs, it's this one In black though. A tinfoil hat is enough, I didn't want a top to toe Bacowrap look.

It's a bit utilitarian, but light as a feather - obviously, ha ha. Not at all bulky and very warm.

AnyMouse · 29/11/2011 15:19

Looks fabulously cosy Massive. I want one!!! LOL at bacowrap!!! Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 29/11/2011 15:25

It's brilliant, I shall never need thick woolies again - just a long sleeved tee shirt or fine knit under it is plenty.

SupermassiveLBD · 29/11/2011 15:26

And something on the bottom, of course Blush

VictorianChristmasVamp · 29/11/2011 15:53

oops realised I hadn't named-changed back from my "funeral" name!!! But tis me admiring your coat Massive!! You'd get away with leggings or opaque tights on under that coat - it looks long enough!!! Wink I've seen people wear far far less!! Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 29/11/2011 16:00

I don't know if that is exactly my one actually, Vamps. it's only just below my knee and I am a titch. But that is definitely the name of the style.

PassTheTwiglets · 29/11/2011 16:13

Very nice, Massive. I couldn't have that one 'cos I'm allergic to feathers! I tried the Grace one on, after the glowing reports about it on MN, but I couldn't fit into their largest size! I guess they assume that people who wear North Face are fit, skiing/hiking types who don't need anything bigger than a size 14 :)

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/11/2011 16:26

Nonsense, Massive, we all know you are a sylph and therefore entitled to wear leggings, unlike we fatties curvaceous Rubenesque ladies.

The Girl needs a new bed too and wants a high sleeper, but I foresee great difficulty if I have to clamber up there to change the bedding, and it wouldn't work well in her bedroom, so she'll be getting an iron bedstead of the Percy trampolining sort. And, Twiggy, I'm all for managed risk but I wouldn't put a small boy in a mid/high sleeper next to an unlocked window that led appetisingly onto a flat roof. Some risks, I think, are beyond managing.

I'm glad things are sounding a tiny bit better, Vampy. At least you have a plan that looks like it's coming together, so I hope BiL arrives in time and you have some precious family moments. The hospice movement in this country is phenomenal - they did so much for my friend.

SupermassiveLBD · 29/11/2011 16:44

Hmm, Maud, after my unprecedented weight loss last year I have been making up for lost time and am heading back to Academy average at lightening speed. If you are indeed all as statuesque as you portray yourselves.

ROFL @ the Percy Trampolining Bed. That makes me want to dash straight out and get one. Bed, that is though I wouldn't say no to a Percy.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/11/2011 16:56

I wouldn't say no to a Percy

::Sits on hands::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/11/2011 17:11

This isn't what I was looking for but it might appeal to the biker chicks. Not quite sure why someone on the left side of the pic is carrying a surf board, but still.

VictorianChristmasVamp · 29/11/2011 17:13

Doesn't look like Gizzy is quite sure what it's doing there either, Maud!! Grin

Come on Spiro - that LC Gizzy has reminded me I want to see my Gizzy Angel picture again!!Smile

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/11/2011 17:16

Back in the USSR

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/11/2011 17:22

Guy regrets accepting the invitation to the Brownie campfire

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/11/2011 17:23

... but Guy and Robin enjoy making Smores

TheSmallPrint · 29/11/2011 17:30

Evening all. I am officially in a BAD MOOD. The person on one of my jobs who gives me grief gave me a double load today in a meeting. I am ready to swing for them most likley with Gizzy's sword if they don't back off soon.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/11/2011 17:32

Why don't you introduce him to your friend, Small?

VictorianChristmasVamp · 29/11/2011 17:33

let me help, Smallio - always at the Commune's service!! Smile

VictorianChristmasVamp · 29/11/2011 17:34

And Maud's speed dial is so much quicker than mine!!Grin

Have a Biscuit and some Wine Small - I don't like drinking on my own and will be partaking of a small glass myself in a bit to unwind myself!

TheSmallPrint · 29/11/2011 17:35

Can i borrow them both? Seriously they are giving me an ulcer, my stomach is in so much pain.

TheSmallPrint · 29/11/2011 17:35

Thanks Vamp but I think I might be sick if I have either of those Sad

VictorianChristmasVamp · 29/11/2011 17:37

Some peppermint Brew instead then???

I hope you mean your colleague's going to give you an ulcer, not Porter and North by the way!! Grin

VictorianChristmasVamp · 29/11/2011 17:39

Oooh - we're going to need a new home before the day is out I predict. How's the official commune building going Small? Wink Once it's built and we've all moved in, you can leave your worries behind you not even going to consider how we are going to make money in our commune? Are we going to be self-sufficient? Sell tickets to see our chaRActers in action? Hmm

TheSmallPrint · 29/11/2011 17:45

Maud's rose garden may have to become a vegetable patch Vamps.
