Mayor of Casterbridge, written by Thomas Hardy, did it for my GCSE English Literature, therefore should know it inside out and then some but I can't even remember the name of the main character!!! . That's how great I was at English Lit!!!

It's definitely 'cos he has an older sister in my DS's case. She was princess mad for a while and has all the Disney princess dresses so he just wants to be like her.

MasterD2 spent the best part of MistressD's reception year picking her up from school wearing her skirts and pink tights/socks. I think the YR teacher was fully expecting him to turn up in September wearing a green gingham summer dress .

(He didn't but he's still refusing to wear trousers -it's shorts or an epic tantrum. When it snows I shall send his trousers to school in his bag and let his teacher deal with it!)

Hello at last! RL well and truly getting in the way at the mo, but will BBL hopefully.

My mum's theory is that it's better to date/marry a man with sisters & a mixed-sex schooling as they are more in touch with the way women's minds work.

I wish she'd though of enlightening me before I married one of 3 brothers who went to an all boys school ...
