My newest blog post is:

Really enjoying reading lots of different blogs

plantsitter - rang many bells of recognition!
dilly - cute pumpkin, crochet is still on my list of things to learn

I don't have ads on my blog mainly because I don't think I have enough hits to earn anything. Ads on other sites don't put me off as long as I can read posts.

CoffeeMummy · 25/10/2011 11:44

I've been baking and am inspired to get back in the kitchen more. I'm also vowing to drink more coffee if that's even possible Grin

plantsitter loved your post about getting out - I've had that same night I think Blush

flamingo I enjoyed the bf guest post too - looking forward to seeing your new-look blog

Anyone with teenage kids finding half term tricky fivekidsandcounting.blogspot.com/2011/10/for-every-parent-of-teenager.html here's how I'm feeling

SNM · 25/10/2011 15:21

I've added a post about The Things We take for granted - and I'm talking dishwashers, nothing profound..
BsDad, have commented on your blog in my other log in from my Special Needs Jungle site

strawberry17 · 25/10/2011 15:55

Got a week off work so I managed to do a bit of a book review.

GraceWhoIsTired · 25/10/2011 16:39

So many great reads here, and some more recipes to try!

I've just posted my sequel to yesterday's post, which is about an obscure religious group who insist upon having huge families despite the tiredness. No dancing condoms involved, honest.

MmeGuillotine · 25/10/2011 16:48

I've got a book review today for a fabulously entertaining time slip novel that dances between Georgian and er nineties London. :)

strawberry17 · 25/10/2011 17:08

Mme Guillotine I've just read your hilarious post my dear Wink

MmeGuillotine · 25/10/2011 17:17

I'm not sure what happened with that post. ;)

strawberry17 · 25/10/2011 17:43

It doesn't matter what happened, it was great.

overmydeadbody · 25/10/2011 17:48

Right, I am off to spend the evening reading all these new blog posts, so many look really interesting!

My latest, project ninety two, a roll up spanner case for my dad

Tomisinathewitchescat · 25/10/2011 18:59

this is part of mme type thing, asking bloggers to list their top 5 toys then the blog hosting is going to compile a top 10 toys as chosen by bloggers.

Tomisinathewitchescat · 25/10/2011 19:05

Just noticing here. the range of blog and post topics that are listed on here is fantastic. I usually would have just stuck to looking at crafty, housy type blogs, but I'm glad to say you lot have expanded my horizons greatly! Thank you for educating me about politics, history, SEN, mental health and everything else you all post about. [hsmile]

MmeGuillotine · 25/10/2011 19:34

I agree - I adore all the different types of blogs we have here. It's like a breath of fresh air. :)

strawberry17 · 25/10/2011 21:18

It's nice to hear people say that, because I have often wondered if mine is out of place here.

cyberfairy · 25/10/2011 21:34

A new post up about the middleclass Mecca of Grizedale Forest in the Lake District. densityofsound.com/unicycle-emptiness/

Julierose · 25/10/2011 21:43

Hi everyone,

Haven't been on this site for a while, but it's great to be back. Very much enjoyed reading through stacks of blogs here [for the better part of] last night.

If you enjoy sewing - especially with kids - then you may find something fun to stitch together on my blog - www.julierose77.wordpress.com

I recently posted an tutorial about making a Christmas tree using buttons (and thread). It's easy for kids to make (ideally for kids over the age of eight) and makes a beautiful wall hanging. See the blog here julierose77.wordpress.com/2011/10/22/tutorial-sew-a-button-christmas-tree-great-for-kids/

Will be putting up more Christmas crafty projects to make with kids soon. Yeah I know... Halloween isn't even over and we're moving on to Christmas...

Hope you enjoy ; -)

overmydeadbody · 26/10/2011 09:00

JulieRose I just had a look through your blog and there are so many brilliant things on there, you have really inspired me!

PetiteRaleuse · 26/10/2011 09:14

cyberfairy I love your blog. I know I keep saying it but everytime I visit it takes me home (and also reminds me why I left). I'm going home in a few weeks to show off the baby - am going to try and get in a visit to the Carnforth Station tea shop - you've described it so brilliantly and it wasn't there the last time I went.

PetiteRaleuse · 26/10/2011 09:54

I have reviewed our very own MadameGuillotine's book today. You'll find it here

I have also set up a blogroll on my blog but please no-one take offence if you're not on there yet. I will be adding more soon.

FlamingoBingo · 26/10/2011 10:14

Sorry everyone, doing an uncharacteristic post and run today!

How often should you get your baby weighed?

MummyBarrow · 26/10/2011 10:23

here is my latest: www.mummybarrow.com/2011/10/ever-tried-making-scones-with-lemonade/

Great fun to do with the children.
