My newest blog post is:

It has been one year since the word 'autism' entered our lives. Her's my thoughts on the past twelve months...

Good morning all Grin. BsDad... that's a lovely, lovely post...

I've collated my collection of iron-rich vegetarian recipes into its own page, and have added a recipe for lentil burgers.

Marking my place for later

DeliriousTante · 23/10/2011 14:04

Marking :)

PetiteRaleuse · 23/10/2011 14:34

I wasn't going to rant today then I saw another example of parents judging other parents so here is my rant about judging.

GraceWhoIsTired · 23/10/2011 17:53

A post about how having lots of children makes you tired but why it mightn't stop you. I'm experimenting with a potentially contentious stance and a rather provoctive image to see how it affects blog traffic. Or maybe I'm just being really boring.

But I now need to go and feed DH and the littlies...

ShirleyKnot · 23/10/2011 20:02

Dilly asked why I wasn't around so much (I did try a bit more on the last thread Wink) but I've been madly sewing stuff and being mad.

Got a new blog, which is linked to my other PartySpanner one here

I wonder if I need to get approval again? What do you all think?

RhinestoneCowgirl · 23/10/2011 20:19

Hello, I just got my email from MN HQ so am new here (but have been on MN for yonks) :)

Grace I really related to your Tiredness Blog, the Toddler Group post made me snigger.

My blog is usually about sewing stuff, but today is about Toddlers and art galleries.

GraceWhoIsTired · 23/10/2011 20:40

Glad the toddler group post made you snigger... I wrote it, as you could probably tell, after many laugh-before-you-cry moments at such places.

I, in turn, can very much relate to what a new experience it is to take a toddler into an art gallery. I tried it just yesterday, and might blog about it...

Cinnamon123 · 23/10/2011 20:53

Halloween is nearing and I'm dreading people knocking on my door whilst DS is asleep, I've written a blog post about this..

Tomisinathewitchescat · 23/10/2011 21:38

Thanks to everyone who linked up to my blog again this weekend. I really appreciate it.
my silent sunday post.
Going to read all of yours after Downton!

breadfortheboys · 23/10/2011 22:39

Thanks Butterfly, I went to a cupcake decorating workshop today, just a quick post about it.

At my parents with the boys for a few days - second day back at work tomorrow and our usual childcare not available so they are kindly stepping in.

SallyDon · 24/10/2011 09:02

Latest post about boys and reading - some lessons I have learnt along the way (which detract from the many mistakes).

Looking forward to reading some provocative posts, they are my favourite.

Hello to everyone this half-term.

FlamingoBingo · 24/10/2011 09:34

Good morning lovely MN bloggers Smile

(I've just written this and re-read it and realised it sounds like a huge sales pitch, but truly and honestly I'm just sharing my excitement with my MN blogging pals!)

This weekend I have been mostly revamping Free Your Parenting, and will hopefully, in the next few weeks, have a new logo and distinctive look in preparation for a big development in the coming months! I'm very excited! I'll be very publicly thanking the wonderful MNer who has come to my aid when it's all done Smile (you know who you are!...Wink)

Soon, I'm going to be doing reviews of parenting books and hopefully will have some to give-away to readers, which I can't wait for. I've got a brand new book about breastfeeding your second baby having not been able to breastfeed your first coming in the post this week, which looks like it'll be brilliant.

In the meantime, here's a guest post by YA novelist Keris Stainton about sex and breastfeeding.

Petite - you star! What a fab post! Will be linking to it at some point - have a few to link to when I write about parenting and judgement!

Grace - Put what you wrote on MN at the top of your post! Had a very big Hmm look appearing on my face as I read your post at first...but gave you the benefit of the doubt thanks to linking to it from here, and from seeing you also eschewed larger age gaps Grin

Rhinestone - Hello Smile Can totally relate - so frustrating taking small children to places like that!

Sally - your blog is fascinating!

PetiteRaleuse · 24/10/2011 10:38

Morning

France. Sarkozy. The UK. Cameron. Today's post is political and very harsh on our dear PM so forgive me if you like him. pint-sized-rants.blogspot.com/2011/10/rant-about-cameron-and-woooo-hoo-to.html

Thanks FB for the compliment. It reminds me of a funny anecdote. I was once at Gare du Nord in Paris, and an English couple came up to me and my then boyfriend. "Eurostar? Eurostar? " they said obvisouly looking for their train. Before I got chance to answer my French boyfriend was shaking his head saying "No, no, no I'm not a star" and feeling pretty chuffed at being mistaken for one.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/10/2011 10:38

PS FB loving the new blog and very excited for you on what's to come and hoping to find out soon what it is that we're excited about!!

FlamingoBingo · 24/10/2011 11:05

Thank you, Petite :) I hope the 'featured posts' thingy will keep people on the blog longer - going to change it to the top ten posts from the week every Sunday.

MmeGuillotine · 24/10/2011 13:05

I'm trying to write my stupid book but for all you sixteenth century history fans, here's a post about a doomed Italian royal lady, Isabella de' Medici, who was strangled by her husband who then tried to pretend that it was 'an accident'.

ScaredTEECat · 24/10/2011 16:32

The Report From Tee Towers. It's not pretty. Major TMI about my son's illness! You have been warned!

I'll try to catch up with everyone over the next few days. Grin

Angel786 · 24/10/2011 16:41

my top 5 emails at work and no I really didn't make them up. Number one is a cracker, serve the misogynist right! Wink

wannaBe · 24/10/2011 18:09

afternoon all.

I have been quiet this week - had lots to think about but not the right words to articulate.

So here is yesterday's post about

\link{http://attheheartoftheopinion.blogspot.com/2011/10/egg-donation-or-is-it-now-egg-selling.html\egg donation}

Petite thank you for your comment! :-)

Angel - pmsl at your top five emails. esp "he can execute himself." Grin
