I am taking advantage of being 7 hours behind GMT to start this week's new blog posts :)

Starting with my comforting, yet decadent Chunky Vegetable Chili with Dark Chocolate

Perfect for a chilly autum evening meal and it was a huge hit with both the adults and the kid in my house. I hope you all enjoy it as well.

Looking forward to your blog posts everyone!

Evening All, I've been away for a few days as we have had guests and now I'm meant to be preparing for my first day back at work as my maternity leave has now ended Sad...I'm distracting myself by blogging about medlars!

A quick one about the hardest hit marches/protests: IRL Hardest Hit

What do you all do, post frequency wise? Do you try to post every day, or just when you have something pressing to say?

Tomisinathewitchescat · 19/10/2011 22:30

a post about my lot writing thier santa letters and doing my head in today

Witchthis · 20/10/2011 07:53

Lovely following peeps!!!! Loving Twitter.

overmydeadbody · 20/10/2011 08:59

Love the pirate costume Tom.

I've done another Astonishing Splashes of Colour post, this time on orange

MmeGuillotine · 20/10/2011 09:19

Seeing as the Tudor Shirt post was such a roaring success, here's the 17th century version featuring Johnny Depp, John Simm and Michael Fassbender. ;)

PetiteRaleuse · 20/10/2011 09:34

According to the Daily Mail am a psychopath. Here is my rant about it.

MmeG going to look now but my answer is already Johnny Depp without even looking.

butterflyexperience · 20/10/2011 11:01

Anyone with pre-schoolers?

Would love your advice on what to do with mine...

Are all 3 1/2 year olds exhausting?

ShirleyKnot · 20/10/2011 11:06

MMeG - you are cracking me up!

DeliriousTante · 20/10/2011 11:11

Hello all

Been keeping up with your posts, even though I've been quiet this week. Love the tangram post. I'm going to make some for DD1.

MmeGuillotine · 20/10/2011 11:13

Haha, thanks! :)

It's Johnny Depp all the way for me - although in The Libertine his nose falls off thanks to syphilis and he ends up with a creepy silver one attached to his face. Not a great look! ;)

ShirleyKnot · 20/10/2011 11:14

God I love Johnny.

PetiteRaleuse · 20/10/2011 11:15

He manages to be hot in anything he does. Even when he's not supposed to look hot. Like when he played Wlly Wonka. Even with that hair and those teeth he still had it

ShirleyKnot · 20/10/2011 11:17

He made me feel a bit funny about the mad hatter and all. Wink

PetiteRaleuse · 20/10/2011 11:22

And he's to be a vampire in the next film - move over RPatz, Johnnie's going to show you how it's done and it's not done with sparkles

MmeGuillotine · 20/10/2011 11:23

I think he's amazing. Some of the stuff he does in real life makes me all weepy - he comes across as such a lovely person.

How does he always manage to be so hot though?! It must be such a frustration to him as I get the impression that he finds his looks a bit of an annoying distraction... ;)

MmeGuillotine · 20/10/2011 11:24

I seriously cannot wait for Dark Shadows!

PetiteRaleuse · 20/10/2011 11:29

Is that what it's called?

I think part of how he is so hot is partly to do with how lovely he is as a person and how talented and passionate about everything he does he is.

And his hilariousness in pirates. he carries those films. When he is not in a scene you fee like leaving the cinema but everything seems OK once he is back. He's camp and I'm not really into rum swigging drunks with missing teeth but... Captain Jack Sparrow is one studmuffin of a pirate.

ShirleyKnot · 20/10/2011 11:32
MmeGuillotine · 20/10/2011 11:37

He is definitely the hottest pirate the world has ever seen. I just have to think about the bit in the first film when he's on the island with Elizabeth and it makes me laugh. :)

FlamingoBingo · 20/10/2011 11:46

butterfly I commented on your post

therestofyou have to agree about Johnny Depp - he's right at the top of my laminate top 5, especially if he's in character as Captain Jack Sparrow Grin

MmeGuillotine · 20/10/2011 12:31

I'm trying not to do any work so here's the Austen Hero List. ;)

I probably should think of some actual content to write now... ;)

FlamingoBingo · 20/10/2011 14:19

MmeG! Would you stop! I'm meant to be working too, and instead I'm just spending hours drooling over your latest blog posts!

MmeGuillotine · 20/10/2011 14:29

Haha, I'm now done until tomorrow... ;)

DeliriousTante · 20/10/2011 14:34

Really? Jonny Depp doesn't do it for me. Maybe a little as Captain Jack but I tend to like my men clean cut. Loving the Austen porn though!
