Move over m'dear. I think I need to join you in there.

Do we have a lackey who could wave the OFF?

DumSpiroScaro · 17/10/2011 23:57

Love the name btw Lady D!

LadyDamnearhell · 18/10/2011 00:16

ROFL Spiro. Love it Grin.

Must go to bed now too.

Night!

Russianpony · 18/10/2011 08:13

Ooh it's scary in here! And my head hurts!! Confused

But I stand by my drunken post last night - JP is mighty hot!!! Strange though I felt I'd already watched most of it in short you-tube clips and photos on here!!Grin

And we watched this week's SB Project Nudity and JP was in the beginning shots and I screamed out loud! The Colonel thought he'd missed something really important so rewound it!! [oops - busted!] Grin

He does think SB is better than SB2, but he was still picking holes in it!! Men eh? Never happy I was very happy and kind of zoned out his witterings!!

I'll catch up later hopefully and come up with some witty scary name - never any good at that.Hmm

PassTheTwiglets · 18/10/2011 10:08

Hello everyone! I am loving your Halloween names - very clever. I can't think of one for mine :( (can anybody else?) RP, could you be RussianHeadlessPony or something like that?

LOL @ your MIL's theme tune, Spiro :)

Did someone mentioned James Taylor? Is there any room left on the LoL, Maud? Only when he looked like this and not like this

How are you feeling today, Maudy? Your Mr Blue Sky vid was brilliant, I really loved it. I think we may have found a cheerful Lucas one at last! I was especialyl fond of the still to accompany "running down the avenue" :) I wish I knew how to make vids - matching clips with lyrics is the sort of thing I love. I was always impressed by those vids they used to show at the end of Wimbledon, the Olympics etc., where they took highlights from the tournament and matched them to a song.

Right, wall needs painting - last coat today.

PassTheTwiglets · 18/10/2011 10:12

I could do something like PassThe Pumpkins but I really wanted to keep Twiglets in there...

pARGHsTheTwiglets · 18/10/2011 11:49

Got it :)

pARGHssTheTwiglets · 18/10/2011 11:51

oops, left an S off.

ComeIntoTheSinisterGardenMaud · 18/10/2011 13:34

::Hobbles in::

My foot is still excruciating, Twiggy, but thanks for asking. I do think I did very well yesterday in prising some new gems out of the basement.

::Preens::

But I discover that the James Taylor who is playing in London next month is the other one, not Sweet Baby James. Boo. (And I don't actually keep a record of the Twiggy LoL, as it would surely take up at least a gigabyte of computer memory).

TheSmallPrint · 18/10/2011 13:48

Hello. I am suffering with work overload so apolgies for my absence. Maud I love Moves Like Jagger too as do the Small Boys. Sorry to hear about your poorly foot, does it need amputating yet?

RP we knew you'd love the proper version of SB, noe of this Project Porn crap.

I love all the halloween names but can't think of my own. I'm thinking either TheSmallBloodiedFingerPrint or TheSmallPumpkin or TheSmallWerewolfPrint. Any suggestions?

LadyDamnearhell · 18/10/2011 14:14

Ah, good one, Twigs!

I like TheSmallBloodiedFingerPrint best, Smallio. Sorry work is interfering with vital study time. We're missing you.

Maud, have you bashed your toe or is it an unexplained injury (possibly caused by stubbing it on the walnut chiffonier during a particularly animated Plato session on the Aubusson)?

::sends virtual paracetamol::

They might be slightly more effective than one of Dr Donaldson's prescriptions.

pARGHssTheTwiglets · 18/10/2011 14:28

SmallBloodiedFingerPrint is great! LOL!

I'd never heard Moves Like Jagger before now. I know nothing that you modern youngsters listen to. I very rarely listen to the radio so don't know much music past about 2002, when I left work.

Maud, sorry your foot is giving you gyp still :( Have you heard Ben Taylor, Maud? James Taylor's son (with Carly Simon). I can't say that I remember any of his songs but I do recall that he has the most divine voice. Looks like him too

TheSmallBloodiedFingerPrint · 18/10/2011 14:56

Well if I wasn't hearing it on my radio, it's on the site radios everytime I go there!

TransylvanianVampiress · 18/10/2011 16:23

Loving the new names!! I went for complete geographical change for mine!![hgrin]

See I missed some fabulous tune education last night!

Sorry RL is so busy small - I miss you, but it's good that work is busy isn't it?!

Maud - how's the toe this afternoon?

Twigs - have you finished your wall yet?

Massive - sorry the island internet is being so rubbish at the moment? Wonder if it's all these sun flares we're supposed to be having at the momentHmm

hope everyone has had good days - blooming freezing where I am today, but beautiful sunshine, so not too bad!! Smile

pARGHssTheTwiglets · 18/10/2011 17:15

I have finished my wall, Vampy, yes. Only took 5 coats! I hate gloss paint, horrible to use and needs far too many coats to be done properly...

Like your new name - took me a minute to work out who you were :)

TheSmallBloodiedFingerPrint · 18/10/2011 17:41

5 coats?[hshock]. Why are you painting your wall in gloss?

ComeIntoTheSinisterGardenMaud · 18/10/2011 17:50

::Hobbles in::

Foot is still agony and apparently impervious to all painkillers. You are right, LadyDamnearhell, it is an unexplained injury and you may be right too that I might have stubbed my toe on the walnut chiffonier while arguing with Mr Thornton over the most precise translation of gnothi seauton. Some of our philological disputes become quite intense!

I think I have heard that song before, Twiggy, although I wasn't aware that Ben Taylor had gone into the family business. If we're thinking of 70s strummers of guitars who are also passing fair we shouldn't forget , who was quite something inspiring in his heyday.

TransylvanianVampiress · 18/10/2011 17:54

Poor ickle toe maud. Is it red and swollen? I'm surprised at Mr T not managing to kiss it better successfully so far. Is he trying hard enough?Hmm

ComeIntoTheSinisterGardenMaud · 18/10/2011 17:56

Yes, it looks like a chipolata, but Mr Thornton is being most assiduous with the foot massages and toe-kissing.

::Hits toe with her copy of Mrs Beeton's Book of Household Management, to ensure the toe-kissing continues::

TransylvanianVampiress · 18/10/2011 18:09

Feeling a bit like ex duchess of York and whoever that man of hers who liked toe kissing then?!Hmm. Hope the pain subsides quietly so you can continue to request his attention to your phalanx while discoursing the virtues of Plato. !

ComeIntoTheSinisterGardenMaud · 18/10/2011 18:15

Certainly not, TransylvanianVampiress (can we call you Trannie for short, by the way?)! Mr Thornton and I have a beautiful and spiritual relationship, but if his therapy technique doesn't work soon I may need your professional services!
