Who's first, me or Small? Grin

TheSmallPrint · 17/10/2011 20:32

I used to go out with a boy who was into Jean Michel Jarre. It didn't last long.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/10/2011 20:36

Tee hee at Moves Like Jabba.

::scratches head::

Then I must be your mum, Spiro, because I am Hyacinth Bucket.

LadyDamerel · 17/10/2011 20:39

I love James Taylor, he reminds me of lots of happy holidays in Scotland with very good friends.

::happy sigh::

I'm a mid-70s girl too but have terrible taste in music so love all the old cheesetastic numbers.

If we're going for songs that remind us of our parents then along with the rest of the Gold album.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/10/2011 20:41
.
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/10/2011 20:45

I still love James Taylor and I think I saw in the Bibliotheque that he is in London next month. I wonder if I can bribe convince The Bloke to go with me.

Ah but, LadyDamerel, do you mean that the mid-70s were your heyday or when you were born? ::Feels ancient:: Rasputin is all well and good, but .

LadyDamerel · 17/10/2011 20:47

Lordy Miss Maudy!

::searches for IF and NeutroniumSFXs::

I rather like that.

LadyDamerel · 17/10/2011 20:49

::whispers v v quietly::

when I was born, Maud and the second half of the decade at that

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/10/2011 20:53

I thought you would and I thought you were!

::Goes back to the basement for a further rummage::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/10/2011 20:57
LadyDamerel · 17/10/2011 21:04

Good choice, Maud.

The still at 20 - 23 secs is particularly fine, I wonder which shoot that was from?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/10/2011 21:10

I dunno, LadyD, although it pops up a lot on the pick and mix videos. It's not one of my favourites as he looks a bit ::whispers:: young there and I think he looks even more handsome when he's older. 170 years old, to be precise.

LadyDamerel · 17/10/2011 21:28

I suspect that it's a 2006/2007 shoot by his hair. It looks as though he has Gizzy's hair.

::goes back for another, closer look in order to cross reference in the Basement::

And look what I found in the Basement. I'm not sure why he looks so young in it though, given that he's 4 years older than MrT.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/10/2011 21:33

Well, as I said, LadyDamerel, it's very nice an' all, but it doesn't make my legs turn to jelly as this one does.

LadyDamerel · 17/10/2011 21:48

I was about to say it's the lack of cravatage but MrT is rather bare around the neck there. I watched some of MrT's finest moments yesterday whilst ironing and fell back in love with him all over again. I feel a little guilty for neglecting him for Gizzy for so long.

Russianpony · 17/10/2011 21:51

SupermassiveLBD · 17/10/2011 21:53

Evening, ladiez. I'm feeling a bit paranoid, here, i haven't been able to get on here, and many other sites, all day Sad

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/10/2011 21:57

::Assumes Yorkshire accent::

DumSpiroScaro · 17/10/2011 22:10

The still at 20 - 23 secs is particularly fine

Yes indeedy - I knew which one you meant before I even went back to check!

RP - don't say we didn't warn you Grin.

Maud - based on the first four seconds of that I will have to save it for another time or I will never sleep tonight!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/10/2011 22:12

I have to say, Spiro, that I am rather proud of discovering that ELO one, which does have certain aesthetic attractions.

::Laments that nobody seems to be making new Mr Thornton vids these days::

DumSpiroScaro · 17/10/2011 22:27

And so you should be Maud!

Has no-one noticed I've got my Halloween mojo working?

(or perhaps it doesn't work and that's why no-one's noticed?) [hconfused]

SupermassiveLBD · 17/10/2011 22:28

Looks like i have missed the Academy Edition of Desert island Discs.
Loving the Boney M. and the JM Jarre.

Did impinge on anybody's ears, round about those times?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/10/2011 22:30

Soryy, I should have mentioned your Halloween groove, Spiro. Tres tres a la mode.

I am feeling poorly tonight so have spent far too much time on the chaise longoo in the Bibliotheque.

::hobbles off to change::

ComeIntoTheSinisterGardenMaud · 17/10/2011 22:36

::twirls::

Oh, Massive! I almost posted a bit of Tubular Bells earlier but thought people might be mean to me disconcerted by all that instrumental loveliness. I love Ommadawn more even than Tubular Bells.

::dons kaftan and throws 70s shapes::

Even so, these wouldn't necessarily be my DIDs.

DumSpiroScaro · 17/10/2011 22:39

Very nice Maud.

I love that Christina Agueliera one, although the Michael Bolton one from the other night briefly came back to haunt me in the side panel!

I must admit I'm not keen on the ones with captions - which is a shame as they are pretty good, apart from the captions, but I tend to just turn them off tbh.

LadyDamerel · 17/10/2011 22:44
featuring another very prominent but embarrassing star of my CD collection.

I love the fact you can put almost any random artist/song into the Bibliotheque search engine along with Richard Armitage and almost always get a match.
