Bloody husbanditis appears to spreading like wildfire today Angry!

::Commissions Small to draw up plans for the Commune, in which all men will live in a dormitory on the other side of the moat and will only be admitted to the ladies' quarters on production of a signed affidavit confirming that they are Perfect Richard are not an arse and have a mental age greater than 10::

I did think of RP when I heard that the Welsh team had been knocked out of the rugby.

DumSpiroSpero · 15/10/2011 11:48

I must admit even I feel a bit sorry for the Welsh rugby team. From what I saw on telly last night they've worked really hard, made lots of sacrifices and behaved impeccably which is more than can be said for our lot so they deserved a bit of good luck.

DumSpiroSpero · 15/10/2011 11:50

Maud - perhaps I should find an engineer to have a go at building Santa's toy - then we could have PR each and be done with it?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 15/10/2011 12:18

Hmm. I think more and more, Spiro, that a women's commune is the answer. I have just discovered a small but annoying example of The Bloke's idiocy.

Russianpony · 15/10/2011 12:51

I said a while back that a commune is the only way forward for us Grin

Spiro - now you feel sorry for the Welsh, but do you feel the need to be grumpy and snappy at your family?!Hmm Normal people would feel sorry for them - it's a shame they didn't make it through the final BUT THE WORLD IS STILL GOING TO KEEP TURNING!!!!

Sorry for shouting!!Grin

Well my poor PR substitute Colonel has left for his hockey match - leaving me with the lunch dishes to sort out, homework to complete, presents to wrap (including his!), his dog to walk, a cake to make (oh yes his too!) and a nice dinner to prepare tonight for us two (for him!). Anyone would think it was his birthday or something and not how every weekend seems to turn out ?!ConfusedGrin

Russianpony · 15/10/2011 12:53

I do love him honestly but I'd just prefer PR somedays !Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 15/10/2011 14:10

Oh dear, ladies. I don't know who to offer the Thanks to first. LadyD, what a nightmare of an evening. I certainly hope you get due recompense, eventually.

And poor Twigs having to get into London too, on top of it all.

I don't know what to say, other than I know how you feel because i have been there too, or similar places. At least the SBs don't wake up early any more. quite the reverse, such fun trying to winkle them out when they need to rise and shine.

And though I am always up to my neck in unwanted sport, rugby internationals don't figure on their radar.

Anyway

Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks

I loved the 'I don't know' vid too. You forget how different his diction must sound to a non-Brit.

Thanks Massive for the Thanks and for reminding me about the I don't know clip! Couldn't see it on my phone last night - tis very amusing!!

I'm feeling calmer than earlier - Blush by my outburst! I know I'm really very lucky on the whole with the dear old Colonel he is afterall almost perfect all that is missing is the fact that he's not actually Lucas Porter! Grin

ooooh - ooooh - I much prefer these flowers DaffodilDaffodilDaffodilDaffodil

DumSpiroSpero · 15/10/2011 14:27

Well, we are off to a charity 'do' tonight which starts at 7.30. It's not really my thing theme-wise but it's for a charity our friends run so don't mind going along and showing some support.
Mr Spiro called earlier to announce he's been offered a footie ticket so has managed to get out of his overtime early & will now not be getting to this evening's shenanigans until gone 9pm because it's a late kick-off, so I am going to have to go on my own.
Upside is that another friend is in the same boat so we get to have a good girly chat and lots of wine before the menfolk arrive.

LadyDamerel · 15/10/2011 14:43

Is this a friend who also appreciates the wonder that is a ceRtAin Man, Spiro?

Maud, I will happily re-mortgage the Priory in order to fund the Academy Commune. If Small could look at it as an emergency project that requires completion by next weekend I'd appreciate it and so would LordD's testicles.

I think Geraldine sums up the Academy attitude towards our respective spouses (spice? Grin) today - Men! Sometimes you could just punch them. Or put their nuts in a vice.

DumSpiroSpero · 15/10/2011 14:48

And now MIL has turned up to drive me mental! Angry

And a straw, apparently you become drunk much more quickly that way.

Would this chap be any help in getting rid of MIL?

SupermassiveLBD · 15/10/2011 14:56

Oh I didn't notice the daffydowndillies. Daffodil Daffodil Daffodil how lovely!

I hope you have a nice girly chat tonight then Spiro. Are you taking PR along with you?

Reminding RP about the 'I don't know' clip has reminded me to check out the Ricky Deeming vid you posted a bit back - I had to view it on mute at the time so I missed half the fun though the licky bit was quite nice on its own

SupermassiveLBD · 15/10/2011 15:08

Oh dear, the MIL turned up while I was posting, did she?

I think I must have something of a PG. the real one might just be something of a liability, now I come to think of it.

TheSmallPrint · 15/10/2011 15:35

Have we seen one? I think Maud might like it.

TheSmallPrint · 15/10/2011 15:42
