Morning ladies. Busy night! I had one of Those Days yesterday and was actually sobbing with exhaustion at 8pm (and from having burnt myself twice with the curry!), so I took a glass of wine up to bed and read a few pages of N&S and went to sleep at 9. I feel human again today!

I enjoyed reading more about N&S but can't remember some of the bits you spoke about so I am going to rewatch next week. When I first watched it I found much of it so utterly depressing that I couldn't imagine rewatching the whole thing (though key scenes have been replayed and replayed :o) but I will do.

Small, yes I read that last week! I've skimmed it before but read it all properly - I kind of like it :) At first I was very Hmm about it but after a while I was Blush and then Grin Some of it is rather... moving :o What was that word I invented about things like that - I think it was blish but I can't remember what the ish bit was from...?

LadyD, your mention of Fiona Bruce made me smile as DrTwigs and I were ROFL the other night. We were flicking through the channels and she came on Antiques Roadshow, saying "I started this programme tonight" and DrT quickly said "drunk", to finish her sentence. I then slurred "and I intend to finish it that way" and we spent the next 10 minutes doing impressions of a drunk Fiona Bruce and did that laughing-til-your-sides-hurt thing. "Thash a crappy ol' vase love, ish worth nuffing! Gish a whishkey..." Maybe you had to be there.

Right, one more cake to ice and then swimming calls. Have a good day, everyone!

Alien fan fic!!! Shock Whatever next?! Have to honest and say that I've not got round to even reading dear Spiro's fan fic - let alone venture onto other people's.

Twigs - as funny as it sounds, I think we may have had to be there!!Grin

Well today has already started not great, so hoping it will pick up. I've had yet another firm no regarding my business which is a big set back, but I'll get over it. I managed to get to my spinning class without my trainers! And now I have to drive to The Colonel's work (14 miles away) and back to deliver something to him that he forgot! So much for my fab Friday morning!

So instead of taking this brief half an hour to do housework, I'm going RA researching in the archives!Smile

Russianpony · 07/10/2011 10:43

Well really helped my mood lift!! Not! Sniff Sniff! The music!!!Sad

But it is a good chronological look back at all he's done! Therefore an all round good revision piece for BiscuitsBrew if she hasn't already seen it. I'm assuming you old timers have watched it a few thousand times already!Grin

Off for some sexy back mood enhancement!Grin

TheSmallPrint · 07/10/2011 10:45

Twigs sorry to hear about your crap day, hope today is much better Smile.

And you too RP, it's horrible to get the rejections. I also run my own business so know what it feels like. What do you do? Or doy uo not want to out yourself?

TheSmallPrint · 07/10/2011 10:47

RP

Biscuitsandtea · 07/10/2011 10:55

I've just watched that link RP - gosh there's a lot of stuff I haven't seen him in. Am currently thinking that if I ever should need an ambulance I'd quite like to come round to find a paRAmedic like that coming into focus Wink

Russianpony · 07/10/2011 12:36

Thanks Smallio!!! Much better that one!! Love the very ending!!Grin

Setting up my reflexology business - hence my fascination with feet!! You still got that close-up Spiro? Can't find it and want a closer look?!!Grin

What line of work you in Small?

Just have a the best carb/calorie loaded PMT lunch ever, white cheese and pickle roll with crisps!! Can feel the Smile coming back!!

PassTheTwiglets · 07/10/2011 13:19

Am going to the Ideal Home Christmas show next month and had to giggle when I saw that this is one of the highlights :)

SupermassiveLBD · 07/10/2011 13:44

That looks worth a visit, Twigs! Do they have tall dark black-leather clad waiters, I wonder?

I am still reeling from the mental pic of him being dragged sans jammies from his bed by PJ's guards. (it's a single, I noticed. Cosy! ) A few coins in their hot sweaty paws and they might be persuaded to divert to Chateau Massive instead, perhaps.

"Come, in my sweet, and let me offer you a nice warming cup of cocoa. Mwa ha haa!"

SupermassiveLBD · 07/10/2011 13:46

I mean' come in comma my sweet', not 'come comma in my sweet'. - getting in an 'eats, shoots and leaves situation' here Blush

TheSmallPrint · 07/10/2011 14:03

Grin Massive, that could read very strangely!

SupermassiveLBD · 07/10/2011 14:29

Indeed, Small. that is why I was so hopping mad at my stupid spongey keyboard Angry

PassTheTwiglets · 07/10/2011 14:58

LOL at Massive's misplaced, or perhaps not, comma :o

SupermassiveLBD · 07/10/2011 15:03

Another thing I'm never going to hear the last of. I just knew it, the minute the begger popped up Angry Sad Grin

TheSmallPrint · 07/10/2011 15:08

Grin it's still making me larf.

SupermassiveLBD · 07/10/2011 15:15

Well, what do you expect? I was all discombobulated at the thought of Gizzy in his birthday suit, and couldn't see straight, never mind type.

LadyDamerel · 07/10/2011 16:27

ROFL @ 'come comma in my sweet'. I've never heard it called that before. A new one for the fanfics perhaps? Grin.

PassTheTwiglets · 07/10/2011 17:00

Ha, LadyD, reminds me of one of my fave bits of Blackadder... "I touched her once, in a corridor..." "well it's the first time I've ever heard it called that before".

LadyDamerel · 07/10/2011 17:12

Grin. I love Blackadder, it never fails to make me PMSL.

Russianpony · 07/10/2011 17:15

I for one have no idea why you are all laughing at massive...

Grin
Russianpony · 07/10/2011 17:16

I too love blackadder. Twas tres tres funny!
Smile

SupermassiveLBD · 07/10/2011 17:20

Another Blackadder fan here. All the very best people like it, of course.

PassTheTwiglets · 07/10/2011 17:44

My brother and I went to see the last ever episode being filmed...

Russianpony · 07/10/2011 17:50

Ooh lucky you!! I watched a documentary once about it all and they admitted that it didn't end as they had filmed it IYKWIM - when it came to the final edit, it apparently looked awful them all running out being shot, so they cut it just as they did and cut to poppy fields. I remember being distraught that they'd killed off my darling Hugh Laurie!! him as mad Dr House and both us being older and wiser doesn't quite have the same appeal!! Smile

PassTheTwiglets · 07/10/2011 18:00

They'd filmed the 'running over the top' bit separately, with no audience, and they showed it to the audience at the end of the recording - I know it's spoken of now as some huuuuge TV moment but tbh I don't remember much about it. Bit of a shame, really.
