WARNING

Don't forget your hard hat, hi-viz gear and parachute. We lost a careless vice-principal this way only last year.

I've no idea how you ladies remember each episode in so much detail assume it's because you've all watched them umpteen times and I've only watched them once through! Grin

Lady V - what a fabulous idea for raising money? wonder if we could build a model of the commune to raise money for its actual construction!

Lady D - the accents are truly appalling all the way through. In that SB episode on Sunday, that American attache accent was awful - he's one of the most English actors I've seen!! Hmm

Anyway, I'm away up the wooden hill as I have a slightly tender Colonel who had a little operation today. So I'm going to practise some hand reflexology on him as I'm doing some sessions for Children In Need donations at toddler group tomorrow. Completely out of the goodness of my own heart but I hope I get at least one more client out of it!! Smile

DumSpiroSpero · 16/11/2011 21:36

Lady D I love Gizzy & Gizzy (was looking for pic earlier on FB hence delayed reaction - dub!).

Also LM*O at you attempts to lure LeQueen back over to the dark side! Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 16/11/2011 21:37

I had better not, Maud, though it grieves me to decline. I should never hear the last of it from the Superboys Blush

SupermassiveLBD · 16/11/2011 21:40

Get well soon, Vampy's colonel. I like your fund-raising idea, good publicity too, Vamps

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 16/11/2011 21:41

Night, Vampy!

I am certainly not even watching mini Gizzy with the intention of putting a last minute bid (crosses fingers behind back and Blush)

Annoying thing is, I could have got away with last year when Miss S was studying the Middle Ages at school.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/11/2011 21:41

But he could live in your reticule, Massive, and waggle his broadsword at you whenever you take out your purse.

SupermassiveLBD · 16/11/2011 21:45

A waggling broadsword? That would certainly make me drop all my ill-gotten- hard-earned Islandic pfunds all over the show

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 16/11/2011 21:47

Do his gloves come off, LadyD? And anything else??

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 16/11/2011 21:59

Only the great coat, Massive.

I have a dreadful feeling he doesn't have gloves Shock.

::starts composing strongly worded letter of complaint::

But he does have a very waggly broadsword and his hips are distinctly snaky...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/11/2011 22:04

::Realises the doomsday scenario is that she and Spiro bump up the price for Little Plastic Gizzy by indulging in a bidding war and then Twiggy comes in at the end with a winning bid via a sniper site::

LadyDamerel · 16/11/2011 22:05

There is a vicious rumour that I am watching Little Gizzy so I can keep him in my handbag just in case Little Gizzy Mk I falls victim to a nasty accident.

SupermassiveLBD · 16/11/2011 22:06

I suppose one has to be thankful for small mercies, LadyD.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 16/11/2011 22:07

It did make me Grin to see the seller had had a query from the States

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/11/2011 22:08

::Rewrites doomsday scenario to reflect that this could be a three way bidding war, with Twiggy zapping all the opposition at the end of it::

LadyDamerel · 16/11/2011 22:08

Perhaps we should club together to buy him and then have him on a timeshare basis?

Take the pressure off Big Gizzy for a while. Poor Richie is looking a bit tired with all this galloping around the country, not to mention his forays to the Island.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/11/2011 22:10

Crikey. There's someone asking £9.99 for a P(lastic)LFW.

SupermassiveLBD · 16/11/2011 22:12

That's a bit optimistic, isn't it, Maud?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/11/2011 22:18

Difficult to know what the going rate is, though. If (say) LadyD pays a trillion pounds for Little Plastic Guy and, after all, who wouldn't? then a tenner for the PlasticLFW begins to look quite reasonable.

LadyDamerel · 16/11/2011 22:24

Oh my, extrapolate this concept to Gizzy. I would definitely pay a trillion pounds for that!

DumSpiroSpero · 16/11/2011 22:31

I think I may have to investigate these sniper programmes...Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 16/11/2011 22:48

Amazon have a similar one of the Sheriff for sale...

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 16/11/2011 22:50

But no Gizzy? What were they thinking?

Just imagine what his 7 phrases could have been.

DumSpiroSpero · 16/11/2011 22:55

I can only think of two...must watch more try harder!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/11/2011 22:55

::Laments that nobody has marketed a Mr Thornton doll, although he is (of course) a total doll::

::Strokes Mr Thornton's chin affectionately::
